Dr Colossus
http://t.co/FvJksZO4 Is this a new picture? In that interview he says he went to Mecca last summer and wanted to go again this. So to answer your question: yes, or no

Dave
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...... Tend to agree. A few papers have reported this supposed meeting tomorrow though so it'll be interesting to see if anything comes out of that.
Guest BooBoo
Call it a stereotype but a lot of African players always seem to have a whole host of meddling advisors/hangers on who are always agitating for moves so they can cream their share.
ohmelads
He needs to nail his colours to the mast soon because we don't need another Enrique situation. My gut feeling is we'll lose him and are already lining up a potential replacement. I'd be sad to see him go but I also think he could be easier to replace than the likes of Tiote or Ben Arfa. His potential for injury and his involvement in the ACoN count against him really. I'm sure he's holding out for a better contract and also keeping his options open for a bigger move but the club will be reluctant to throw big money at him given fears over his knee and his ACoN involvement. They might see it as a lot easier to just replace a player who they see as messing them about. I hope he agrees to sign a new deal and commits but if he's intent on leaving just let him go and bring in a versatile forward who complements Cisse and can play during the ACoN. Cajun
Agreed, will be gutted to see him go but would much rather he made up his mind now than drag this out all summer even if it does mean him leaving.
Skirge
Club & fans need an answer from him all this hanging on waiting is torture, I do believe its more down to the money hungry bastards that represent him than it is down to Demba himself. I think Pardew knows his players and him saying its not about money but about feeling loved and wanted could be spot on, however this thing about his knee seems to still be bothering clubs even though he played near enough every game for us and was fine. TRC
Not too bothered if he goes, as long as we replace him.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
Ba got plenty of 'love' from the fans, especially considering the fact he went through a second half of the season goal drought. If he leaves it's got nothing to do with not getting enough 'love' from the fans.
Mole_Toonfan
Ba is a goner as far as i'm concerned..... theres no way we would offer close to 10m for De Jong to be a mere squad player. Ba is gone and De Jong is his replacement.... we will also replace Best too.

If he leaves it's got nothing to do with not getting enough 'love' from the fans. I think he's miffed about being replaced as 'the guy,' despite saying otherwise. Was still a vital part of the attack during the second half, doubt Papiss would've been nearly as successful without Ba next to him.
