Ikon
Why are you not in the transfer thread discussing exciting stuff instead of numbers?
MidfieldGeneral
Buffon 88 ?
Guest chopey
Kevin Brock was a number 8 and he was right mid
Guest reefatoon
No no, 7 is right midfield and 8 is centre mid. Gazza was 8 here and neil mcdonald was 7. Brock played mainly centre for Jim Smith too.
Disco
Buffon 88 ? Casual racism, the Italian way.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
1 2 5 6 3 7 4 8 11 9 10 This all day long. And nowt tops Ivan Zamorano actually having a plus sign between the 1 and 8.

Peppe
1 2 3 5 4 7 6 8 11 9 10 That's how I want it. I'm think that's how Championship Manager had it back in the days (94/95?) when the numbers determined the position on the pitch Not saying CM is correct but that's how I remember it and it has stuck with me Edit: I also think it's weird to write teams the way you do, with the keeper up top, I'd like it the other way around, like this: 9 10 11 6 8 7 4 3 5 2
andyman
I have to agree with Peppe. I bet Pardew writes his teams with the goalkeeper first
Guest reefatoon
Left back number 4? Never heard such crazy madness. Number 4 is David Mcreery, and Kenny Wharton never played centre back.

ads
I hate to say this, but who cares? Khalid doesn't care... http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/09/05/article-2412175-053D33E50000044D-207_634x421.jpg
Lenny
I always thought 4 and 6 looked the wrong way round on the traditional layout.
Stottie
I like the way Kolarov plays for Citeh as number 11. Its like saying I'm not in the team to defend. When I was a kid, the most famous number 7s were Keegan and then Dalglish, but that was at Liverpool. They had Steve Heighway as number 9 on the wing. Guest chopey
I'm still not sure about number 7 right mid
AyeDubbleYoo
Actually, one annoying thing is the players who can't get their preferred number so they make the shirt add up to it. Like 9 and 1 for 10. Give it up, the number's taken.

Darth Crooks
The Chinese actually don't use player names. They number them, like their food.
