When all is said and done his legacy will take everything into account, but until then, right now, he's rubbish in most ways.

Kind of like The Simpsons.

His defensive work was absolutely shocking today.  I'd say drop him but we have no one behind him.

Pardew's a big taylor fan, I don't know why he hasn't dropped Colo by now and put England-class Tayls in there.

All the fuss 3 years ago about, 'why the f*** don't we just extend his contract man'.

Wish we'd just let his contract run down and let him go back home now, he'd have been remembered as a legend almost.

Guest Roger Kint

He has been awful far too much the last year. Shocking captain considering he had Williamson telling him who to mark today

How did he go from so awesome to so shit so quickly?

He's declined physically and he's never been a great athlete in terms of strength and pace. He's also stopped giving a fuck. Sad to see, even sadder that we don't have an alternative as we shipped him out to Roma for free effectively.

It's got to be this. That second goal especially, the way he just kind of lazily stuck a foot out and wasn't to be arsed when it went past him...

end of his career, no ambition, undroppable, wont get another big club, club and owner have no ambition, happy to try and do just enough to stay in premier league and get paid.

exactly the same goes for pardew. peas in a fucking pod.

Glad his willing to be part of this club has forced MYM out and we are left having to replace ALL of our CBs sooner than later. Wonderful, that. Fucking laughable joke of a CB now.

Although to be fair, Colo isn't the one who decided we needed to force out MYM, that would have been a decision taken by Pardew and Charnley. Also it's worth repeating, Big Steve Taylor has always been highly rated by Pardew, he does have the alternative to replace Colo with Tayls assuming he's fit. Which of course he must be as we had too many centre backs on the books which is why we needed to bomb out MYM.

Whenever he's terrible - we are terrible.

Which goes for pretty much every starting CB in history. You need reliability there first and foremost, which it makes it all the more ridiculous when daft idiots turn their nose up to very solid defenders like Shawcross because they aren't cultured enough. Fucking preposterous.

I would agree but with Colo it seems to extend to the teams attitude.

Shawcross would moonwalk into our team.
