Paully
His contract extension is one of the worst signings in our modern history. As shit as he was against Watford, he was our best player vs Man Utd and Arsenal! I look forward to posting on here after his hat-trick and our clean sheet tomorrow
Lush Vlad
His contract extension is one of the worst signings in our modern history. As s*** as he was against Watford, he was our best player vs Man Utd and Arsenal! I look forward to posting on here after his hat-trick and our clean sheet tomorrow So he's great in games where we sit deep with a midfield camped in front of him for 90 minutes and where nothing is expected of him or the team. Shit the rest of the time?
NEEJ
His contract extension is one of the worst signings in our modern history. As s*** as he was against Watford, he was our best player vs Man Utd and Arsenal! I look forward to posting on here after his hat-trick and our clean sheet tomorrow He's been on the decline for years and is extremely unreliable. It's embarrassing that he's still our captain after all that has gone on in the last couple of years. Any other club in the country would have replaced him sharpish yet we've extended his contract. It's blatant stupidity and tells you all you need to know about McClaren's judgement (sadly) if he made the call.
Doops
A centre back that turns away from every shot at goal. Its beyond a joke how many times hes done it this season alone. Throw yourself in front of the ball you big jessy!
Dave
He was perfectly good today.

Gallowgate Toon
Today was is sort of game. Not particularly physical opposition, deeper defending and lots of protection.
sempuki
Had a good game.
Dinho lad
He was perfectly good today. Not sure about his attempt to block Ramires' shot.
Doops
He turned his back on Ramires shot for the goal. Thats not good enough. Its not the first time either. He should be willing to get stung a bit.
geordiesteve710
Did better than expected today, I thought Remy's pace might fuck him over but coped ok. When he got radgy at Mbabu getting wiped out at the end and went to protect his younger player I thought he actually almost looked like a proper captain for the first time ever. Ally
Read earlier this was a good Colo TV performance Poor defending all round for Willian's goal and that header shortly after. Just basic organisation and marking
timeEd32
According to WhoScored, he has the second lowest average match rating of any player who has played every match this season. Only Ivanovic is lower. I don't know if that really means anything, but I do think he's one of the main reasons for our problems - both as captain and as a player. Fenham Mag
I've really had enough of this cunt.
The College Dropout
Turning your back is weak and cowardly for a captain CB. Cowardly for any defensive player. The Willian goal he did the right thing but highlights his lack of real leadership or communication. Why was he the only one trying to hold the correct line? DJ_NUFC
Mate and I watched all the goals again and he was at fault for a majority of them. He gets caught ball-watching over and over again, and if Aguero has just scored 4 fucking goals on your ass, why would you not mark him and let him gingerly score another tap-in? Ronaldo
His ball-watching is a joke, like. All stems from him being painfully aware that he can't compete with the strength and mobility of PL strikers.
DJ_NUFC
Yep, and look at older, more intelligent defenders in Italy. They have distinguished, long careers because they know that even though they've lost a yard of pace, their reading of the game improves like wine over time. They can cut out threats before they even begin, and are in control of the entire backline. Colo seems to no longer have the physique or the mentality to cope at this level anymore. The College Dropout
I don't watch Serie A but you imagine that the pace is slower which makes it easier for a defender of older years.
TaylorJ_01
Defend against Cuadrado and Salah and say that again.
Paully
Mate and I watched all the goals again and he was at fault for a majority of them. He gets caught ball-watching over and over again, and if Aguero has just scored 4 f***ing goals on your ass, why would you not mark him and let him gingerly score another tap-in? Colo was at fault for "the majority of them"? 1 - Mbabu didn't track Fernandinho when Silva dinked it towards the back post - Janmaat was marking Aguero and didn't track him - well worked goal 2 - Mbemba awful pass 3 - Janmaat was yards behind the rest of the line (this has happened for a few goals lately) - Aguero spun off Mbemba (who probably thought he was offside) and finished superbly - well worked goal 4 - Gouffran didn't track de Bruyne 5 - Aguero skipped-by Mbemba and finished superbly 6 - Aguero got in-between Colo and Lascellas to tap in Aguero was world class and sometimes you have to accept that he was far too good for our defenders to handle! The College Dropout
Defend against Cuadrado and Salah and say that again. Are they strikers? Same league Luca Toni, Klose & Di Natale are still smashing them in.
The College Dropout
Aye but Colo has been shit for a long time. The whole backline and midfield should be in for some grief. Golden boy Mbemba was at fault directly for at least 1 goal, little has been made of it. We've conceded buckets but Mbemba's been at fault for a fair few goals already.
