After an insider chat over the phone Pardew raced to get the deal done before the press alerted other clubs and Fergie managed to avoid laughing until he'd put the phone down. I find it interesting though that he has been released, you would imagine that if the club go down and don't have Rafa then they would be tempted to keep him because of 'Premier league experience' and that he should be quite cheap in wages compared to others. Will never be a top player though and with the pace he has he really should be better than he is. One of the worst I've ever seen for his decision making. All of them ran to the spot where the seeds dropped to the ground except one chicken that started running in the opposite direction at full pace. That chicken reminded me of Obertan.
