Yorkie
Well in that case it's fair to say to a certain extent he created the goal we scored. Plain scapegoating of a common un-favourite, here. He absolutely ballsed up that chance and him passing it to an opposition player three times in the space of a second was pretty ghastly, but he didn't cost us the game any more than several others. Guest firetotheworks
It's not though, because he didn't. It's not scapegoating at all, anyone else that refuses to shoot at an open goal and I'd be saying the same, the reason that he's the one getting stick is because he's spineless and the rest of them would have at least had a shot. Ayoze gets away with his miss purely because it shouldn't and wouldn't have been a chance in the first place if it wasn't for him making that situation out of absolutely nothing. Yorkie
Nor did he cost us the game. He had a big chance and made a shite decision. It was infuriating but it wasn't the reason we walked away with one point instead of three.
joeyt
No doubt he should have done better with that chance, but the ball to him by Sissoko didn't help
TRon
No doubt he should have done better with that chance, but the ball to him by Sissoko didn't help It wasn't as perfect as the cross in the first half for Cabella's header I'll admit, but still that miss was all down to Obertan's lack of nerve at the end of the day, he just didn't want to take responsibility. Perez blazed a bad one high and wide as well, but at least he wanted it.

Perez blazed a bad one high and wide as well, but at least he wanted it. This is it in a nutshell. The guy is crippled by fear and has no confidence in his ability to do the rudimentals of the sport. I don't even think a drop down a few divisions would do him any good because whenever he's put under any pressure from anyone or anything he crumbles and makes poor decisions or his basic technique lets him down. He's a waste of a shirt and there isn't a manager around who could do anything with him. His problems are massive and inherent and he needs to be moved off the wagebill asap. I know it's harsh but. Ronaldo
The fans' reaction to him wasting that chance was brilliant, mind. Looked like 5,000 men all throwing punches at imaginary faces right in front of them.

binnsy
Still have no idea when he had the ball 12 yards from the corner flag in the last minute he didn't turn to the right and take the ball into the corner instead of going backwards and then playing a bad ball back to Sissoko which then triggered the 4 back passes back to Krul. For that alone you have to say he was a big factor in us throwing away the win.
AyeDubbleYoo
Christ. You could slag off Hitler on here and Ian would offer a defence. Give it up, man. If you could just add the acceptable opinion into the title of every thread it would save time. Or better yet, have a sticky with a summary of views that are alright. Would save you all the one-sentence dismissals at least.

TheHoob
His appearances need to be limited to away games if at all really. Every time he gets brought on at home he's laughed onto the pitch which for someone who is so mentally fragile just means he's going to shit his pants every time the ball comes near him. mozy
The guy's decision making when he has anything more than one option is horrific. He must be thick to the point of retardation. But there's clearly a talented footballer in there capable of impacting a game as we've seen it. So damned annoying.
TaylorJ_01
He's impacted about three games. Not enough to constitute talent.

KaKa
Wow, this guy is a strange one ... some things he does just melt your brain. That situation where he is right in front of the goalie one on one and goes to pass it was so creepy and weird. Incredible.

Sellotape pictures of puppies and his phone number to the ball and hoof it into the family enclosure? You're priceless you Kaka lad.
