He probably got marked down by the assessor for that one big mistake though, if they think he had a poor performance they can demote him for a couple of games

Mike Dean gets West Brom v Wigan next weekend, he surely should have been demoted to 4th official or championship after saturday's 'display'

It will be next season.

ooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I'm sure it's not a coincidence he's gotten picked for that game. Probably punishment enough.

The Liverpool result whilst obviously good for us just pisses me off about the injuries we picked up in this game. Really could be disasterous for a campaign which has started so brilliantly. Taylor out for the season for fuck's sake. :(

Aye, exactly the same. Really hope we can pick up some results in spite of it. As much as it's suicide to go into a season with 3 CBs, to lose them all is still rotten fucking luck.

Jose can't shoot and Ryan Taylor can. Doesn't even begin to make a case for him being a good LB.

Not making any case for anybody, just stating the facts. Ryan Taylor is a better all round player than Enrique that's for sure.

:hmm:

Funny that Bolton appeal Cahill red card and win and rightly so it was never a red but then Luiz should be given the one match ban he deserves as he should have been sent off.

I'd rather he was playing for them than not tbh.

Maybe Pardew will now admit that we don't have a strong squad.

We have only scored 3 goals apart from Ba, and he will soon be gone for the Arican Nations cup, something we knew about and should be prepared for.

"Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas believes Newcastle counterpart Alan Pardew should have kept quiet after last weekend's defeat at St James' Park.

The Portuguese has been firmly under the spotlight for the past week after accusing the media of a premeditated agenda against his club.

Villas-Boas believes Pardew also demonstrated double standards when complaining about David Luiz's escape from a red card in Chelsea's 3-0 win last Saturday lunchtime.

The centre-back committed a last-man challenge on Demba Ba and escaped a red card, much to the annoyance of Pardew, when only receiving a booking.

But Villas-Boas said ahead of Monday's match with Manchester City: "Nobody tried to focus on the fact that maybe Demba Ba was offside in the David Luiz challenge. Nobody took that option.

"They all wanted to give him the red card straight away.

Big scandal

"Alan Pardew made a big scandal out of this but the guy is offside.

"Maybe the linesman should have done his work - and maybe Pardew was lucky!

"He even got a free-kick which Ryan Taylor could have scored from, and I got a yellow card and a player suspended.

"So maybe, now, I should get the player and the card rescinded, because it was an offside the linesman didn't give.

"And this is the same manager who got a (controversial) penalty at Old Trafford to get a 1-1 making a big scandal out of this.

"And then it was 'It got their player (Steven Taylor) injured, because David Luiz wasn't sent off' - come on!"
