Wallsendmag
Didn't contribute to the result but he was s**** Yep. Refereeing in this country must be at an all time low right now.
Sean
Lukaku not facing any action at all over his kicking out incident the other day. Unbelievable man.
geordie_b
Apparently because as it was petulant and not violent or brutal. Strange that as i would have put Shelvey vs Spurs in that category but I guess we are the wrong United
Figures 1-0 Football
Romelu Lukaku avoids retrospective action after appearing to kick out at Lewis Dunk. Gary Lineker also claims MOTD didn’t show it because ‘nobody saw it’. Interesting really, that MOTD managed to miss that but were absolutely falling over themselves to ban Mitro, Murray etc. this season.
joeyt
What was the Murray incident?
Guest firetotheworks
They also showed Lukaku kicking out vs Liverpool like...
Figures 1-0 Football
What was the Murray incident? Wrong player, I meant the other Brighton striker.
wormy
Was he as shite as it seemed? Not saying he was a difference maker but we're bad enough as it is. Feel like every decision was giving Leicester the benefit of the doubt.
Dave
They probably should have had a penalty for the Ritchie handball.
Guest firetotheworks
Yeah, he was poor all round.
xLiaaamx
What the fuck was that one where Merino got hauled down, then the guy tripped over his fallen body and got a free kick
Stifler
They probably should have had a penalty for the Ritchie handball. No they shouldn’t. The linesman was especially bad today, refused to make decisions at all at times, and made loads of mistakes, all to the benefit of Liecester. Still a bad performance from the referee again, which is becoming a joke. It’s every game now, nothing goes for us and everything goes against us. wormy
What the fuck was that one where Merino got hauled down, then the guy tripped over his fallen body and got a free kick Towards the end? Was right in front of that, fucking joke.
triggs
What the fuck was that one where Merino got hauled down, then the guy tripped over his fallen body and got a free kick Well he didn't get hauled down, he was messing around with the ball in the corner and got outmuscled, wasn't a foul against but it was really poor by him
Guest firetotheworks
Awful that one, I was convinced they'd score from it as well.
summerof69
Referee's have a difficult job and ofcourse we can only blame ourselves for our poor form but should we start being more vocal about the lack of decisions going our way ? Are we too nice ?
Wullie
Referee's have a difficult job and ofcourse we can only blame ourselves for our poor form but should we start being more vocal about the lack of decisions going our way ? Are we too nice ? I'd love to know whether the number of top flight games without having a player from the opposition sent off against us is getting towards any sort of record. Today was the 109th PL game in a row.

sbnufc
Dunno about longest run without an opposition player sent off, but we've had the most straight red cards in PL history Equal 8th in the list for 2 yellows to red too with the mackems https://www.statbunker.com/alltimestats/AllTimeClubBookings?comp_code=EPL
Dave
For all the slagging the officials and lawmakers get, it feels like a massive relief to finally see players being banned for diving.
midds
Approaching the 4th anniversary of last time we had he opportunity to play against fewer men in the PL. Boxing Day 2013, Stoke at home (won 5-1) was the last time a PL ref thought that an opponent of NUFC had committed an isolated red card offence. Fuck knows how many reds we've been shown in those 4 years, I bet it's nearly 20.

A lot of them will be perfectly justified too btw, not whinging for the sake of it, just fucking fed up of the outright refusal to show opposition red cards for similar offences and incidents. Lots of ours are merited, those of the opposition are ignored and that's the infuriating thing. It's double standards.
