Another game where the ref loses control over it because he's too spineless to book people when it's deserved. As soon as that happens the players go looking to settle things out themselves, as we saw today. Inconsistent from one minute to the next flopped between giving everything and nothing, players don't know what's coming so they push it as much as they can. What a cunt

Seems fairly clear refs have been told to "let the game flow" in the first half, and the result is that teams can kick the everlasting shit out of us with no threat of cards. It's extremely dangerous and weak minded. Every single week we're talking about these clowns. They're an utter disgrace.

Whether it was the Harry Kane for every header (why do you think Neto was so concerned about Tino). Or the Fernandinho special of stopping a break with a blatant foul. They did it all game. 
 

Caicedo has the same magic anti-yellow card cloak as Casemiro. Could have been booked a good 4 times or more

Consistently shite at least. Absolutely awful for the entire 90. Not issuing Caicedo with a yellow despite 5 fouls. The officials missing the red card. Or relying on var to do their jobs for them. Cucuerella with those sly pushes when challenging for a header. A melee involving both sets of players and I think only burn issued a card. Continually letting Chelsea berate him and whinge/moan without any consequence is baffling. Horrible cunts but officiated entirely shit to boot. Glad it didn’t cost us.

Their competence is at an all-time low in the PL era, for me. Every week there are multiple egregious mistakes; they seem scared to make decisions. Need a rule change to make it an auto booking if you get in referee’s face or intimidate, would help them make the right decision more often. Seems to me they would rather VAR makes big calls for them. As it stands they’re too much of an intangible when achievements or survival etc are on the line.

It already is a booking for it, but the referee’s don’t show it, and they certainly don’t show a 2nd yellow. Enzo was in the ref’s face today all the time, he got booked for it, but continued to be in his face.

I think if it just was a no-doubt auto booking it would die out pretty quickly. Rugby is a fucking weirdo’s sport but they’ve got the referee-player relationship and decision-making process down to a fine art.
