I can't take it anymore with these gimps. If it wasn't for the fact that they're all painfully incompetent you'd swear it was a conspiracy!

The wording isn't quite that, but it does say that a foul should be blown before the offside is given if the foul occurs before the player makes an attempt to play the ball.

So yeah goal should have stood

I also did not know that you can't be offside from a goal kick

Another poor one. Just got to accept the standard is truely woeful in this Country at the moment. Probably at an all time low. He hasn't even done anything controversial. He's just not very good.

It's woeful when you're not City/Liverpool/Arsenal/Manure

Yep, it's the little things that add up. Ham-handed with the yellow cards, different bar for one team to get a freekick ahead of the other, just every little helping hand that they shouldn't really be needing anyway.

Was the ball in play when Burn was pushed?

Aye, this is the bit of nuance that's missing from the screenshot. Would be interesting to see if there's a specific clause in the law which addresses when this happens from a dead ball situation. Because that is more often than not when it happens.

He was better than the ref at Villa. That's all the positivity out of the way.

Other than that, he's a gimp, I hope his wife's boyfriend kicks him out of the house and his kids grow up resenting him

There's nothing in the offside law, the bit in their just puts a foul ahead of the offside if a player is offside but fouled before they play the ball.

You would go to whatever law says that a foul before a corner is taken is not a penalty but rather a whistle, little chat then retake the corner.

So it's either a goal/penalty for the push or we retake the free kick.

That's my arm chair interpretation, but I'm sure the boys in Stockley Park know better than me just reading the fucking rule book

This is what I have said since I started watching football. Back then it was for teams like Man Utd, Liverpool, and Arsenal. Now we have the rest of the top 6.

They kill the game by giving your DM or CB an early yellow card for something that isn’t a yellow card.

Every 50/50 goes the opposite way. One team can do fouls, be more physical, the other can’t put a foot wrong.

Steal those extra yards on a free kick or throw in, play the ball quickly if you need to.

No, not for you.

They edge you out of the game, and if they do their job right then no one notices because every decision is open to interpretation.
