It's fucking unbelievable that we had to endure shit performances week in week out from the likes of Jonas, Tiote, Cisse (this season) yet HBA has one terrible game and a quite half and there's talk of dropping him. Fuck me with a stick man.

If it happens, it will be sickening. I still can't believe he actually swapped the whole set up around because of one bad previous game.

take out the one player who actually makes watching matches the slightest bit entertaining? sounds about right  :sleepy2:

I think he'll definitely be dropped, and we will sneak past Cardiff (as they aren't very good) and Pards will be vindicated in his shit decision making.

Its fucking grim that Pardew's even still here, let alone that he's risking alienated our best player.

This is just us assuming the worst though right?

Tbf there's a few about who believe our 2nd half performance was down to Pardew's half time team talk and outstanding tactical switches. And this included taking HBA off and nothing to do with Everton just massively switching off. If it was all about us and not about Everton then we were simply better with HBA off the pitch. Simples.

Of course it is.

Ignore all of the praise and hype he dishes out, on a regular basis. Speculation in a newspaper confirm that he wants to 'alienate' our best player, on the back of two sub-par performances.

Are people honestly believing Ben Arfa's going to be dropped?

was he not "hauled" off at half time?

And? Pardew thought he was giving Coleman/Mirralas a free ride down the right so switched things around. Cardiff don't possess the same sort of ability that Everton do down the flanks, he’s not getting dropped, it was a tactical change at half time which worked but to suggest because he didn’t think Ben Arfa was right for that game means he won’t be right for Cardiff is just naïve.

Was he right for Hull?

The praise that was mostly tempered with criticism? OKAY DEN

Are you serious here, like?

In my opinion he's right for any game. Hull he just had a bad day at the office all around, against Everton i didn't think he was as bad as people make out but obviously Pardew felt Cabaye would give us more control in the game and we would tighten up without ben arfa, it worked for that 45 minutes but that doesn't mean to say that's what we will do from now on away. Ben Arfa is still crucial to our side and Pardew knows it, he'll be starting on Saturday.

Yes

You really think that he's attempting to use Hatem as a scapegoat for the recent poor performances, with the end goal of having him on the bench. Presumably, this will be to allow his favourite player in the world, Jonas, to play instead?

He makes one tactical change at half time resulting in Ben Arfa coming off and suddenly he's bench warming Saturday when he's been an integral part of the first team whenever fully fit. Don't understand where people draw their conclusions from. 'Hatem Ben Arfa not good enough to start away to Cardiff', just say that over and over in your head, you will almost start laughing to yourself after a couple of times because it's utter nonsense.

I'll still wait to see what we actually do. Can't deny I'm really scared that Pardew will throw the baby out with the bathwater.

It seems exactly what he going to do imo. Jonas FFS.

Well I don't really know what that means. The press are definitely pushing the line that there'll be major changes. I'll wait and see.

Nothing new the press trying to put pressure on us and trying to create a bigger problem. Surprised they haven't ran a story about Ben Arfa on strike or summit or some huge bust up.

The local press don't put pressure on the club, man. They're permanently kissing the club's arse for fear of being out in the cold again.
