EthiGeordie
he needs to start next week hopefully 4-5-
Guest Craig-NUFC
Seems to be Pardew's plan B. If he comes on and does well, Pardew's a tactical genius. If he comes on and does crap, it's Ben Arfa's fault.
Newcastle Fan
Outstanding fucking player..out fucking standing.. needs to start every game from now on.
Dr Venkman
Our best player today, he won't get a start next week. Pardew just doesn't get it.
Numbers
Did good today, Sunderland were shit scared of him.
alexf
Away against arsenal with a suspect kieron gibbs at left back or if he is injured then a make shift left back.
Guest Heneage
Made them look like amateurs.
Ikon
I was almost sure the first half would look like it was!
Guest palnese
How many nutmegs was that? 15?
alexf
i feel there is going to be a highlight reel made of his skills in the 2nd half because some of the moments where he was surrounded by red shirts and just nut-megged his way out was superb! Ikon
Doing it once every now and then is luck, managing it as often as he does is silly ability!
PENKAAA
Pardew saying Ben Arfa played his best 45 minutes this season, that he's got a dilemma about team selection next week against Arsenal. Ben Arfa tore their left-back apart. Felt Raylor would have known more about the derby than Ben Arfa so started with him. Just play the fucker. TRon
To think he's been sat on the bench while we've played a defender on the right wing instead.
Jagten
Known more about the derby?! It's still football.
Ikon
Dilemma My fucking ASS!
Sammys_Tekkers
Changed the game when he come on. Brilliant footwork, needs to learn when to get rid of it though and seems to love running into the crowd of players. Will improve with starts, and he needs to. Ben Arfa's performance today sould have remove any indecision Pardew has over the right side tbqh.
Dokko
Does lose the ball far too much but totally offset by the fact he does more with in than all our players combined bar Ba. He doesn't lose it any more often than the other fuckers, it just gets noticed more because of the expectancy when he has the ball, and because Pardew's drawn attention to it. He lost it countless times today, but like said totally outweighed by what he does when he doesn't miss control it, pass it to an opposing player, fall over or run into a cul-de-sac. Jayson
With Pardew the difference is hes going on recent performances over reputation. Ben Arfa was poor against Brighton & Blackburn, any other player wouldnt get starts after that. He was very good today, its about that simple. Ikon
Wonder how many times we lost the ball through a bad cross or hoof ball or even a quite simple pass, at least this lad manages to be dangerous at times.
Mick
He was the reason we played so well in the second half, pity he was so poor in the first half. He was probably to blame for them taking the lead.

Keefaz
I hope those supporting Ben Arfa today will be behind him next time he loses the ball terribly in a dangerous location, dribbles it out for a goal kick, overplays, etc. etc.
