More Pardew praise in that 2nd le10sport link

The influence of Alan Pardew

The return to the forefront of Hatem Ben Arfa is also mainly due to the advice and the influence exercised by our coach, Alan Pardew . The Newcastle manager has established a very special relationship with him and understood how to get the best of his protege. " You should know the manager, confirms Jose Anigo, Marseille sporting director and former confidant of HBA. He walks a lot to affect. "Very demanding with Ben Arfa in his work in training, Pardew intelligently handles the hot and cold, pushing the former resident of the INF Clairefontaine a constant challenge. The French, very attentive, sharing much with his coach. " Pardew is a psychologist, says a relative of Ben Arfa. Hatem needs to be framed, direct, to show him we are counting on him. There is an exchange that has never been in France outside Gerets. In France, we were just observations, but never give him an answer or advice. The opposite of Alan Pardew.

Great to hear.

Love the idea of him and Pardew just sitting down watching Barca matches together to show what we're wanting from him as well.

Wasn't enough made of the Enrique one. Looked a blatant pen on the replay.

Yep, there was no mention of it by commentary or at half time. Was a definite pen.

It's quite hard when the media consists of so many Liverpool old boys.

Danny Murphy was raging in the studio, looked like he was going to cry.

It was just as bad as Williamson in the derby.

It was worse! Hatem had gone past him and Enrique then reached round and was all over the front of his shirt. Penalty all day long.

Yep if Williamson that did to Carroll, it would been shown over and over again and crying why it wasnt a penalty.

was it fuck. Even HBA himself didn't bother to appeal.

Watch the replay. You can even see Hatem's back/stomach because his shirt is pulled up that much.

Couldn't find a replay.

Are you saying HBA didn't go down easily there?

dived against the bin dippers

Enrique had a good handful of his shirt. Should have been a pen IMO.

Agreed, he had a handful of his shirt and was pulling him back, a lot of players would have gone down for less.

I just watched it again and IMO many players would have gone down earlier before Enrique got a foot on the ball (when he still had a hold of his shirt) and probably would have gotten a pen.  Would it have seemed a bit soft/harsh, maybe, but IMO it was a foul and had it been someone like Ashley Young it would have been a nailed on penalty.

Actually a few moments after that happened Carroll went down with barely a touch from Williamson and Alan Smith (co-commentator) said "Yeah that was enough", as in it should have been a pen, fucking hilarious after he just dismissed a much more blatant foul on Ben Arfa as nowhere near a pen minutes earlier.

What about all those shitty rumors going on twitter mentioning that ben arfa won't play tomorow due to a  disciplinary incident on training or due to an injury ( different sources) ??? They say that Ba might not play too  :idiot2: !!! Even on SportsTonightLive they've been talking about that !! http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=cSVZti4hF20
