tmonkey
Really frustrating to see players ignore him when he's open and close to them, as though they think they're too good to go for the short/obvious pass and would rather make a more telling pass themselves. If Barca with some of the best players in the world are happy to do short "useless" passes to their best player (Messi), so should our fucking players. In fact it should be a rule written in stone and nailed above the dressing room: "You lot must pass to Ben Arfa you shit cunts".
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Tiote one of the main culprits.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
It was a good runout for the lad. Kept possession well and we actually started looking like an attacking threat when he came on. Encouraging. Apart from nearly costing us a goal by losing it cheaply on halfway. Didn't help with us keeping Ba, Vuckic, Jonas and Shola standing around up top and no midfielders other than Tiote present. So he tried a suicide ball rather than drop it off to his captain? How dare we commit men forward when losing at home too, scandalous attitude tbh. There has to be some kind of controlled set up. We had Simpson operating the entire right hand side, Jonas fuck knows, Ameobi up top somewhere, same with Haris. Different story, though.

AlanSkÃrare
Looked motivated today, did not see much of the ball with all the hoofing going on. Still, an assist and one brilliant run. I think he needs his chance at Bolton.
Guest hatem garrincha
He needs more than a chance. He needs at least a five games run.
JH
We actually looked like a vaguely competent attacking threat when he came on.
Sifu
I'd start Ben Arfa against Bolton, most definitely. They're one of the "lesser teams" of the PL (no offence jukeboxromeo) so they should be "perfect" opposition for him to play against. It can't be said enough though, play him on the wing. Guest H09
Every time he plays he constantly loses the ball by either failing to take on 4 people in a dangerous position or failing to release the ball. He really is blind of the simple pass. It is what is holding him back, the talent is there. The most overrated player we've ever had.
Dave
He needs more than a chance. He needs at least a five games run. Totally agree, Pardew goes on about Obertan needing a run of games - well he's had 17 now this season. Problem is with these comments about the #10 position, Pardew has created this ridiculous situation where we can only really play Ben Arfa by changing our entire system. Which makes it unlikely. Pardew have to work to improve that aspect of his game. Anyone remember Cronaldo&Nani first games (season) for manu. Same players, let them play and work with them. Its football, its this kind of players we want to see...

Pilko
If he doesn't start against Bolton, he might as well ask for a transfer. We were fucking garbage tonight, and he still can't get a start.

Mr. Snrub
He needs more than a chance. He needs at least a five games run. Bringing him on with 20 minutes left when we're drawing or losing every time is the worst possible thing. Everyone's expectations fall completely on him to turn it around for us, it's unfair pressure on the lad. If he got a run of games starting maybe we wouldn't be in such poor positions after 70 mins. It also comes down to the fact that Pardew seems to have been the one behind the signing of Obertan, while Ben Arfa isn't really his signing.
Wullie
Play him on the left and move Jonas to the right. We're simply not getting enough quality into the box. Having a manager who claims that a player who has played as a left winger his entire career can't play there is an embarrassment. Give him a DVD of last year's game at Goodison ffs.
