SiLvOR
Unbelievable. Why the side hasn't been built around him beggars belief.
Jordan
FWIW Gouffran was one of the worst players on the pitch tonight If Ben Arfa had played like he did, he would have been hooked before half time and certainly never seen again. HBA has never put in a performance anywhere near as grim as Gouffran's tonight. I said the other day that he never hides, well that was complete bullshit because tonight he was lying on the pitch with the fucking duvet over his head. This. Pardew's treatment of HBA and Marveaux has been fucking awful. He's such a terrible manager that has brought nothing positive to this club. I hate him so much, more than Allardyce and Souness. Gallowgate Toon
I don't think the side should be built around him but he should certainly be one of the main men in our attacking game.
Jordan
I love HBA. He's the type of player which gets you into football. He's exciting, I didn't start watching football because our wingers defended excellently.

I don't think we have anyone else we can mould our game around tbh, going forward he should be the main man.

Although, Cisse's the most likely to get goals while Loic's missing so it should be set up to give him the best chance of scoring. We badly need some players in the Summer

Jordan
Creates to many chances and excitement, get rid. I long for wingers who defend their fullbacks and nothing else. Workrate ftw.

KaKa
That move to create the chance for Anita man, my God! We have a manager that likely sees stuff like that in training daily, and starts Shola ahead of him. What a charlatan. When Ben Arfa leaves I'd love to see him at Everton with Martinez, so we can enjoy his talents.

Nevermind that, I'd be f***ing proud as punch to see him play for Everton. Yeah don't get that like. It'll be very much the 'here's what you could have won' speedboat on fucking Bullseye. Teasy
Nowt to do with being proud to see him play for this or that club. I'd imagine he just wants to see him do well somewhere, preferably in this league just to rub Pardews nose in it and everyone else who believes the cretin. I'd rather he did it here and of course it would be painful to see him doing well elsewhere, but I can actually understand that view to some degree. Elliottman
Didnt Pardew try to sell him to Everton in the Summer? 'If Everton sell Fellaini, they might come in with a bid for Hatem' or something like that . As for HBA, f***ing hell man. He's done more in his last two sub appearances than Gouffran has done since Christmas. Will he get a look in? Will he f***.

AlanSkÃrare
It's always like this with Hatem. He comes on, reminds everyone that he's the best talent at the club. The situation with him potentially leaving is a travesty and down to one man's incompetence only. He's been unable to utilize his talent as we're never aiming to impose ourselves, but rather hand over initiative and play opportunistic attacking football. In a team looking for initiative and control, Hatem is the sort of player who creates space for others as he draws attention, and unlocks opposition when passing and movement is being cancelled out. Watching Deolofeu last night was painful with regards to this.

JH
Once again, Pardew's plan is working. Bring on Ben Arfa when we're chasing the game and when he inevitably doesn't win us the game single-handedly, there's a bit of discontent in the stands. It'll make it so much easier to get rid of him in the summer.

JH
Well it seems to suit his "Well Hatem has to work harder" agenda. Nobody in the midfield has shown anything to suggest that they should be starting ahead of him. If he got 90 minutes, he would show that and Pardew would be forced to work him back into regular contention.

Ikon
Keep it tight and try to get a win/draw with a bit of magic in the last 20-30 minutes. Jesus Christ i hate this snake in charge!
BrettNUFC
Looked such a better side when him and Marv came on. Then like the other two goals, got caught on the break when it was us attacking. Everton's countering was superb last night, punished us time and time again. I want to see that Ben Arfa skill again though for Anita's sitter...saying that though, that Barca kid for them
