afar
Just read a few threads on that awful board of theirs. They really have an unrational hatred of Pards don't they. It's like it's FACT for them that he's some kind of arrogant bellend. The one thing that has struck me the most about his after match comments is how humble he has come over, even in victory. I often contrast his comments with that of his opponent and it's been chalk and cheese. Taking the Stoke win, first thing he says is what a good side Stoke are, then praises his team for their efforts, Pulis tells the press that we scored three bad goals, didn't have any other chances apart from the offside Cisse gaol and Walters should have scored a hatrick. After the Wigan game, Pards, tells the reporter how Wigan were fantastic and probably the best team we've played, then talks about how flat we were. Last night tells the press how this is such a difficult place to get a result and he's proud to get his first win there as a professional, Di Matteo says Cisse did not mean his goal. I don't know, I just don't see where they get this from. Obviously linked to the altercation ion the touchline with O'Neill. Something which he openly admited to being disappointed with his own behaviour, to the press after the game, I don't recall O'neill saying the same thing. Guest
So he thinks they are not far off us, as they were close games home and away but ignores the 20 points difference in league positions. I don't think they can emulate us though...or most of the league under the other top 8 clubs & Villa when they get things right. Stoke, Sunderland, etc. rely on spending top whack on average British players just to get mid-table stability. Sure, they have the odd gem like Sessegnon, but they couldn't have a transfer policy like ours. Even though we've been poor on the pitch the last 6-7 years we're still a big name in Europe. I could never see a Sunderland getting the likes of Cabaye, HBA, Ba, Cisse, etc. on batch like us. Cisse for example is probably buzzing that he's following in the footsteps of some of our number 9s. If he'd signed for that lot and scored 13 and 12, do you think he'd be thinking, "Get in, I've just equalled Superkev's record"? No chance.

Guest BooBoo
It's killed them that we've done so well this season. When we went down they had a golden opportunity for he first time in a generation to establish a period of dominance as the regions best performing club. And to a man, they've made a complete bollocks of it. All it's done is make them more frustrated and bitter than ever before. It was their chance, their golden opportunity and it's eating them alive to know that we've bounced back so quickly after they prematurely danced on our grave. newsted
Horseshit, "Tiote... the hardman, carried off with oxygen. Yet he's fit enough to play again." What a fucking dispicable, horrible, fat fucking ginger prick. An embarrassing childish whining jerk, he's only there because they don't really have any legends, he has no aptitude for the job at all. I wouldn't trust the twat to stack shelves. He can barely speak intelligibly and like all mackems turns everything onto NUFC. The fucker would fit right in on RTG, denying reality all day and night, the twisted shit-for-brains freak. Also, I'm sure if one of our players had elbowed someone like that there would have been an immediate FA charge and ban. even the normally biased commentators said straight away that it was deliberate. Do we hold the record for retrospective bans? It certainly feels like it. But I suppose those turds are carrying the flag of St George into two Cup Finals and we're almost Scottish, so in the grand scheme of things we will never matter and should be kept in our place. Incidentally, never trust a player who changes his actual name because he thinks it makes him sound cooler (cf Jermaine "My gran says I'm a genius" Jeeenass/Jenas). Apparently some Norwegian journos got baffled by John Michael Obinna's multitude of names and went with a couple he didn't have. Fancy that, journalists being ignorant. Wiki disagrees (although "citation needed" so I'm sticking with the story I may have made up). The voices in my head clamour to make me do these things. Maybe the folk from Norge can help with some alleged facts. And anyway, what's horseshit's point here? Tiote took an elbow in the face and when he comes round he's ready to go again rather than cry off and say it's doctor's orders? That makes him tough, doesn't it? No talk of PTSD or flashbacks, just "lemme attem!" I wouldn't want to be Michelle Obi Wankenobbi Juan in their next encounter. Look how annoyed I am. Time for bed, I'm getting cranky. Hooray! Intermittently remembered to use the sarcasm font!
