ponsaelius
It's no surprise to see McClean's form hit the floor once he got that shiny new contract. He's set for life now after having fuck all.
Guest firetotheworks
I love the whole bricking it thing. They always seem to mix up the run up to a match and the result. As if us being nervous as fans determines the result. Like I said yesterday, I was still nervous when we were 3-0 up against them during the 5-1. I will be next week, I'm always terrified that they'll beat us, but I'm equally as fired up and all tribal about us crushing them. If you're not nervous, then you're a liar or there's something seriously wrong imo.
Cajun
Hate the 'don't mind that we lost, it's the manner in which we lost' thing tbh. When you lose you will more than likely have not played well and often that is to do with the other team dominating, pressuring and forcing mistakes. The times you lose by a few clear goals but have looked good are really fucking rare.

Thankfully I know/come into contact with so few actual mackems it makes it bearable if we lose.

Guest VegasToon
We need that Mackem chart back. Already seeing many of them predicting a win against us.
madras
So there's two amenities which have been emblazoned with Sunderland "celebs/businessmen". Why no "Wearside Jack museum"? There is, but when you put the postcode into the sat-nav, you get to the destination only to find a derelict house in Pennywell. Then the sat-nav voice pipes up "I see you are still having no luck finding me..." you know, I've been on here quite a while though not as much of late and think I've cracked a funny or two in my time, been nominated as funniest poster a couple of times, may even have won it once, can't quite remember, then someone who's barely made any sort of impression on me comes out with that and just makes me feel like I've been completley wasting my time (260 days) on here. you sir are a twat and a genius. Coincides with the fact he is very easy to defend against being so unbelievably predictable.

AY
Marty really has no other game plan exept to counter. It was actually fun to watch when Sunderland had the ball and they tried to pass it under a bit of ManC pressure No movement from midfield when the centrebacks had the ball... Ketsbaia
A mackem's facebook status: Negative, defensive, lack of ambition, 11 men behind the ball, deserved defeat. 3-0 flattered us. Are we any better off than we were with Bruce?

ExiledGeordie
They're very one dimensional with Fletcher. With a fully fit side we have far more weapons to hurt them and the pressure is squarely on them to get a result too. The pressure will be turned up a notch too if we get a result tomorrow. Big Geordie
As struggling as they are, we don't want to get too over-confident when we go to their place in two weeks time. We need to remain focused and do what's required rather than take the 3 points as a given. Am sure Artie will have them fired up.
Skeletor
No matter how shit they are they'll raise their game against us as it's one of the only 2 fixtures that matter to them.
Klaus
Aye, form rarely matters much in derby games tbh, however the mackems will be under more pressure given recent derby results and their record against us at the SoS

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Taylor and Besty @TaylorandBesty Some Mackem arse gave me a mouthful of abuse for playing "You're just too good to be true" at a wedding, when it was requested by the bride. Taylor and Besty @TaylorandBesty He called me a "fucking cunt" and said I was out of order. For playing a song, at a wedding. Not bitter much are they??
