Ketsbaia
How many Champions League medals does Cuellar have? Exactly. So why on earth does he think he'll push John O'Shea and Wes Brown out the team?
oldtype
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/sunderland-to-sign-carlos-cuellar-who-946203 Cuellar cost 7.8m? Well, at least O'Neil is getting him for free this time.
Varadi
Cuellar is a solid enough defender to be fair, decent signing on a free. Depends what they're paying him of course, the mackems wage bill is already way too much for their turnover.

cp40
People have underestimate Ashley for a long time. He may look like a beer swigging lager lout on the terraces in a Mag shirt but there is a reason why Sports Direct and the Mags (After it took him some time to initially learn the business) are doing so well. Easy to put it down to luck but there is some significant judgement in there too. And Short is better.
