Very tactical, hopefully we finish it off here cos I dont want this shite brought back to St James'. Not sure how Ben Arfa has been a liability, one awful pass which comes from him playing far too deep- other than that he's done nowt like the others (well aside from the inside pass to Simpson which was decent!)

It's been a boring game but they haven't troubled us bar one occasion when Santon was beaten far too easily. We're so slow in the final third though, they're standing off us and we're slowing to their pace rather than being quick and decisive.

That was painful. HBA first not getting into then being largely wasteful. Santon still looks to lose concentration too much when defending. Plus playing Jonas central is acheiving nowt at all. It forces a striker to play out wide rendering him useless, forces Santon to do far too much running without any cover and for the most part forces Jonas to try and play football which he doesnt look comfortable doing. Dont see any advantage of him there when all he offers is a bit of running off the ball for the most part, need to get him out wide with some space to get into his stride.

Both teams playing for the draw and on the counter doesn't make for a good spectacle.

Havent heard a peep from our fans either, team could do with a bit of vocal support out there.

The players on the pitch need to do something to get the fans going.

Dont think we have been poor, Brighton have pressed and closed down any space but we are a PL team having a good season, we SHOULD be capable to open them up and create space.

Cabaye is playing too deep and needs to get into the game. Maybe he is covering Perch.

Ben Arfa isnt getting on the ball enough and when he does he's trying to go past that one man too many. Lack of movement around him though.

Shola's done alrite, good strength at times but really lacks any mobility.

Shola off and either Ferguson or Obertan on.

The thing is with Shola, I've seen snails on tranquillisers move faster.

Our midfield seems to be having trouble hitting the killer pass in the final third. Since we aint got a sh*t midfield, the problem has to be upfront!

Cabaye long pass to Best and then his take down...sublime. Pity bout the finish

Obertan will be on for Ben Arfa I bet.

It would be absolutely ridiculous if so. He's been shit for most of it, but he's the only one in the squad who's capable at breaking through a wall of defenders, like what Brighton have set up. Obertan can't beat a man for shit. Wouldn't make a jot of sense.

We've been utterly abject. Don't look motivated at all.

Really don't get how we don't look 'motivated'. We've been sharp and fluid with our passing from defense to midfield and have tried to force our way through. It's the front three that are letting us down at the minute, no one else.

Because we're not going for the jugular, nobody's moving to take risks and score. We're just keeping control, fair enough though, I'd say we're not being ballsy enough (as an improvement on my previous statement).

Tim Sherwood has just said "Santon is the worst left back ive ever seen"

He's an idiot.

Poor couple of games though. Needs to work on his defending, but we already knew that. Can only learn on the job. The rewards we reap will eventually be worth it. :)
