Guthrie deserves a lot of credit too, we've functioned really well as a team with him in it the last two matches.

Fits into the midfield three with tiote and yohan very well! Underrated performance today, probably because of his injury.

Any update on that atually?

Just managed to bring myself to post here after that win. And what a glorious win it was!

Liverpool Football Club in 2011/2012 is the epitome of everything I hate about football. To put one over them in that manner, and against a team with a few ex-players and ex-manager....to go 11 points clear....wow...there are no words. Probably the sweetest win since god knows when.

Two more from Cisse, another good game from Ben Arfa....Can't ask for more really. An on form front 3 can easily jet propel us up the league even at this stage of the season. We must have the most in form forwards at the moment, and I even fancy us to be ahead of Chelsea in the table by the time we play them away. I'm not normally that optimistic, but it just seems like the team has finally clicked on the footballing front to go with the incredible team spirit we continue to show week in week out.

What a wonderful day to be a Newcastle supporter  :smitten:

.com need to proofread their match report. Tsk tsk.

Their first draft is always a bit off, usually typed after a few post match beers no doubt.

I was less than impressed with Liverpool's youngsters today.

They should have kept Guthrie if that's all they've got coming through.

Liverpool averaging 0.6 points per game with Gerrard starting in the team this season.

If only he'd been fit all season!

It's funny cause Gerrard has more quality in his big toe than the whole of the Newcastle team.

Also your sig is wrong, he isn't a legend, he's a cunt.

Hi Kenny, hope you didn't find the sky interviewer's questions too insulting.

Then it's Kenny's fault for not tapping into that big toe's talent. Justice for Steven's big toe.
