Mole_Toonfan
Probably not a coincidence that he looks a lot better with Gouffran grafting his nads off in front of him - really starting to look a proper fullback. Think it had more to do with the fact every time Liverpool's wingers or wing-backs were coming forward he was always in position because he wasn't bombarding forward at every opportunity but instead picking his moments so he wasn't constantly out of position. Same with Santon really.... i hope they stick to being like this, with players like Remy, Ben Arfa etc etc we don't really need our fullbacks bombing on so much especially as recklessly as they are to the detriment of the team. The College Dropout
Agreed. Pick the right times. Being in position is useful.

AyeDubbleYoo
The Debuchy/Cabaye interview from BT sport is on YT if anyone hasn't seen it. Didn't post coz was scured ov banz Are they naked?
Benwell Lad
Good game, bad game, whatever, but Debuchy is quite obviously a very talented full back. A player having some teething problems after moving to a new country and adapting to a very different league is of course a different argument. Anyway he was very good on Saturday. Skirge
They are so close its great to see but I'm not sure Debuchy could cope in a team without Yo.
Cajun
They are so close its great to see but I'm not sure Debuchy could cope in a team without Yo. He'd need to man the fuck up sharpish then, he's not 8!

Barnes23
Thought he was very good today. So good in the air and solid defensively. Pleased he got on the scoresheet.
SMTW
Thought he was very good today. So good in the air and solid defensively. Pleased he got on the scoresheet. Aye, one of very few positives.
Gallowgate Toon
Well played to him, he's been very solid of late. Real battler too.

BottledDog
Thought he was excellent. Probably our best player overall. Him and Tiote were the bright spots again.
SiLvOR
Feel sorry for him, one of the very few who can come out with any credit today.
Guest bimpy474
Played ok today. Great in the air again.
Lush Vlad
Even without the goal. He was our MOTM behind Tiote. Although they were probably the only two players that deserve credit TBH, so that's not saying a lot. I like him and I'm glad he's hit a little bit of form the last 2-3 games. The College Dropout
He's becoming a pretty rugged PL fullback and I like it.
Eveready
I thought he played well. Did he kiss the badge when he scored?
Dinho lad
Yeah. Not falling for that one, Mathieu.
DJ_NUFC
Much improved, I like him now, actually. It's been a slow process, but he's just settling in. He's had some absolute shockers where I didn't want to see him play for us again, but he's done well and stepped up.

Lenny
One of the few players we have that seems to have some genuine steel about them (without trying to snidily kick players ala Cabaye). I've always liked the look of him, despite his obvious shaky performances.
triggs
I'm not going to say I believed in him all along as he had some shockers but one thing I always liked about him was that he is not afraid to be aggressive in a challenge
