Guest
It's his acceleration which worries me. He's good on the ball, good tackler, strong in the air, looks like the sort of full-back capable of chipping in with 3-5 a season...it's just when a winger knocks it past him or a ball knocked over the top where he's suspect imo. Overall though I think he'll be good.

Tachikoma
Still not convinced tbh :/ For me, Enrique has set the bar for NUFC fullbacks and he... reminds me more of a younger Stephen Carr a lot of the time. Having said that, I still like him better than Danny Simpson.
joeyt
Thought he played well. Would quite like to see him go up for corners has a great leap and wins loads of headers
Tooj
One of the few players we have that seems to have some genuine steel about them (without trying to snidily kick players ala Cabaye). I thought that because he's a dirty foreigner he can't possibly have a bit of passion about him? That's how it works on here isn't it?
Lush Vlad
Only see the second half and ET. But I thought he was very good again. What he lacks in pace, he makes up for in fitness. Constantly up and down the flank and loves to get stuck in. His keenness sometimes gets him in trouble. But I'd rather him try to cut things out and intercept passes, as oppose to standing off like most of our defenders.
Geordie Ahmed
Had a dodgy start this season with City being a low point and as usual plenty of knives were out with some absurd comments BUT he has been very good of late, would like to see Ben Arfa back on the right so they can build some sort of partnership
Tisd09
His Newcastle career thus far hasn't been the best, but a big improvement lately, and looks like he can be the player we all hoped he would be. Hell of an engine on him. The way he looked at the ref and Negredo after he booted him in ET x
Dave
Been really quite impressive after a shaky start to the season. Hope he keeps it up.
Ikon
French Terminator tbh. Happy with him, been very good lately.
Lenny
Really hope he can keep it up. I have no idea why but he's been one of my favourite players since he signed. He has all the attributes to be very dependable.
henke
For a midget he's good in the air, i'd start sending him up for corners and the long Debbie.
durhamunigeordie
Fair play to him he's starting to look very accomplished. Still does like to anticipate and flies into the occasional rash tackle as a result, but that could be him trying to compensate for a slight lack of pace. Excellent in the air and knows exactly when to get forward.
Lenny
He did not like Negredo last night
alexf
Cabaye and Negredo seemed to be having a few words in extra time so I assumed that foul by Debuchy was just him looking after his lover.
ujpest doza
He did not like Negredo last night Neither did Cabaye or Tiote either and Negredo mouthing off and making gestures fuelled the fire.
Ronaldo
I wouldn't go that far. He's certainly good enough to dominate wingers in the air, which, to be honest, he should be. A good, powerful header of the ball, though.
olliemort
Seems to play better when Ben arfa isn't on the same wing.Probably because he has better cover with gouffran there as he likes to get forward and he's good at it.Thats the probably we have though,Ben arfa performs better when on the right but Debuchys better when gouffrans there
