Mr. Snrub
At least someone finally vented their frustration at Ameobi being on the pitch.

Thomson Mouse
How was it cowardly. He won the ball easily and didn't even tough the man.
Ste
How was it cowardly. He won the ball easily and didn't even tough the man. Course it is. Lunged in with both feet off the ground, it's a shocker of a tackle.
Parky
Still the petulant one.
Cajun
How was it cowardly. He won the ball easily and didn't even tough the man. He took longer to land than a flight to the moon, absolutely stupid tackle.
NG32
Not sure "cowardly" is the correct term to use realy. Reckless and dangerous, towards a fellow professional.
Ste
He had time to think about it and still done it. Lunging in with two feet and off the ground like that is cowardly in my book, the intent is there to hurt the oppositions player.

Cajun
Not sure "cowardly" is the correct term to use realy. Reckless and dangerous, towards a fellow professional. He's gone into a challenge he is very unlikely to get hurt in but if he connects with the opposition player it is probably going to do a lot of damage! Cowardly for me. Thomson Mouse
Bollocks was he trying to hurt him, he didn't even touch the guy.
Flip
Bollocks was he trying to hurt him, he didn't even touch the guy. Have to agree here, it was a red but he's clearly going for the ball. He lunges like that to reach first which is just moronic.
Ste
What else is he doing with two feet off the ground like that? Everyone knows the rules now and there's been enough leg breaks to know what happens as a consequence of challenges like that. It's idiotic and cowardly. Im not defending it, Im just think "cowardly" is the incorrect term to describe the incident.
Cajun
I don't think he actually intended to hurt him but it was a 50/50 and he went in with a cowardly challenge where the only outcome was the other player getting hurt if he caught him.
Guest
Was a stupid tackle. Not cowardly and don't think he tried hurting him. Was just plain daft.
Thomson Mouse
He clearly went for and got the ball without touching the opposition player. Stop knee jerking and using cowardly, it's not.
NG32
If anythng "cowardly" would be someone who pulls out of a tackle.
Pilko
Fucking idiot. Absolutely no need to dive in with two feet like that. In good form before today but he's the reason we fucked it up. No way were we gonna lose before he went off.
Cajun
If anythng "cowardly" would be someone who pulls out of a tackle. No just someone who goes into a tackle with two feet in the air knowing they aren't going to be the one that gets hurt if they clash. Not sure why him not making contact means it can't be cowardly. Flip
f***ing idiot. Absolutely no need to dive in with two feet like that. In good form before today but he's the reason we f***ed it up. No way were we gonna lose before he went off. Only one person to blame and that is Pardew. We've been shite all match.

If you watch it back he has his feet on the ball before the other guy is anywhere near, he clearly went for the ball and had a brain fart while doing it. Nothing malicious in it at all.
