In his defence he's not a natural right back and fair play to Fulham because they certainly exposed that. Caught out of position time and time again but lacking the pace to get himself out of trouble and destroyed by a 16 year old kid.

 

Problem is he doesn't appear to look 100% comfortable in any one given position. He only got moved to right back because he wasn't up to the job as a central midfielder.

Think it's for the best if we just let him go in the summer, generally just hasn't worked out for him here.

I'd keep him as a cheap squad member but wouldn't really want him starting too often in any position.

He'll also be on decent Premiership wages. This has easily been his best season for us. Trouble is we had to drop down to the Championship for him to have a good season.

He made some great tackles and played the position well. Also put some good passes in right after important tackles to keep things flowing. Was one of the best performers in an unfortunate result.

As you probably know I think he's a good midfielder, but it's pointless having that debate now!

Very good defensively, but most importantly his distribution from RB was very good. Great to have him back in form after his injury. If only our LB could handle a football at his feet.

Defensively I still think he's better than Yedlin, though Yedlin is the long term option we want for RB.

I'm happy with either of the two starting tbh. The one in best form for the day should play. They are a bit different but I like the both of them when at their best.

Yedlin and Anita aren't world beaters or anything but I'd be happy to go into the PL season (hopefully that's where we'll be) with these two as RB choices. So many other areas of the team/squad that should be much more of a priority.
