Tidy yes, but that was it. When we needed to really push on we bought him and nobody else, and we suffered. Genuinely think Perch was better than him.

Perch would come on to help us see out wins. Far more effective than Anita ever was for us

Hope that fat-assed waste of air has a shit retirement, loses all his money, can’t get a job and have to live in a Utrecht bedsit on benefits for the rest of his life as payback for the living he stole out of us.

Christ :) I thought he was shite for us, but I never held any ill-will towards him.  Just a thoroughly mediocre player and I’ve seen dozens of those in B&W

One of the most average players I've ever seen for us. He wasn't appalling, he never did anything special, he was just always kinda there. The most notable thing about his Newcastle career is that his name is synonymous with one of the worst transfer windows in recent times.

Yeah, I think it's the window that people remember more than the specific signing.

Average isn't too bad for an NUFC signing of that period TBF.

Little Vurn and his big fat arse. Awful player. Neat and tidy? I don’t remember neat and tidy. I remember shin kicking and giving penalties away at Chelsea. A lot of people romanticizing the type of player he was. Wanna know the type of player he was? Go watch Manuel Ugarte. THAT was Anita.

Recall good goals vs Brugge and Man City at home and two electric performances in the West Ham home game & away at Hull in the Pardew headbutt game. Otherwise he was somewhere between bang average and turgid.

That Fulham home game in the Championship when he played right back and a 12 year old Sessegnon was denied the chance to take the pen for his hattrick, probably gets in the top ten worst individual performances in an NUFC shirt.
