Cajun Posted July 19, 2013 Share Posted July 19, 2013 Tbf he did sound like the sort of centre back we are missing (tall and physically dominant) but it might have been difficult to juggle 4 centre backs of their quality even if Saylor is no doubt going to miss half the season. Relatively comfortable with Williamson at 4th choice, he has shown he is okay when getting the odd run out. It's when he is playing as many games as our first choice centre backs it becomes a problem. Hopefully with MYM here and now having some experience under his belt we should be better equipped. The centre-halves is an area I'm particularly happy with. We have four experienced guys and Mapou (Yanga-Mbiwa) in particular has now had six months in England is looking terrific.
