Class celebration for the 2nd goal. Reminds me of the newscaster 'Yeah! f*** Yeah!' gif. Someone should do similar for Pardew's.

Director's box protocol is not to openly celebrate.

Get in Pards - good on yer man!

I love the seconds pause he does and momentarily looks tongue tied and probably thinks 'Should I do it, should I do it, directors box... I could definitely cover this up by running my hands through my hair and sitting back down' and then nah, f*** that! "Yeahhhhhhhhhhh, f***ing GET IN"

I think they would like. Lloris hasn't even played yet for a start. It all depends on the players in those positions as well. Obviously Coloccini, Tiote and Krul are massively important to us, do the same to Man City (Hart, Kompany and Yaya Toure) and it's just as much a miss.

Ah f*** it, I'm wrong. Aye, you'd be areet with those particular positions out, actually.

 Fair play. Actually, we're already missing Kaboul and Parker, but we've got good cover in those positions. The only position we currently have no proper cover for is arguably left back, and of course, Benny's injured.

Take the main keeper, centre-back, right-back and holding midfielder out of any team and they'd struggle. Last night's result and second half comeback seems better the more you reflect on it.

I think that's fair enough, but I do still have a nagging doubt over Pardew's ability to actually coach a team of passing footballers. We always seem to give the impression that we are most at home when we start getting the ball forward quickly and direct. That might be unfair as it's due to the personnel available and that's what I'm hanging my hat on for now. 5 points is still a decent return from the opening fixtures, but we need to start winning games sooner rather than later if we are going to emulate last season.

Only 1 defeat in 7, but only 2 wins. As long as we start turning these draws into wins I see another excellent season.

A win on Sunday and it will have been a good start to the season considering we've had Spurs, Chelski and Everton.

We've done pretty well to turn those possible defeats into draws. We're going to need to improve a lot to finish in the top 7.
