Guest
Last year before the derby all the negativity was that Taylor was left-back still after Enrique had sold and we had a few, "You know for a fact Taylor will score a free-kick now". In a similar fashion like mentioned, Williamson will score on Sunday from a floated free-kick.
Guest Geordiesned
Open letter from Northumbria Police to fans: Dear Supporter, Northumbria Police, Newcastle United and Sunderland have all been working closely to ensure that everyone who attends the derby game on Sunday, October 21, has a safe and enjoyable experience. To help us with this we ask that you cooperate with police and stewards on the day. Recent derby games have passed without any significant problems and we look forward to a similar experience this weekend. Below is some key information for on the day. It is important that you read it and are aware of some changes to match day - especially after full time. Enjoy your day. For the return journey - There are three Metros running direct from St Peter's to Central Station - they are at 16:44, 16:53 and 17:08. There is one train service from St Peter's to Newcastle - this leaves at 16:35 The club are running a return coach service. Contact them for more details (only those fans that have purchased a ticket and can produce it on the day will be allowed to board the coaches, especially at the end of the match). SEATING The location of the away fans at the Stadium of Light has changed and you will now be seated in the upper tier of the North Stand. Turnstiles will open at 11:30am and you will have access to the bars on levels one and three of the North Stand. The level one bar will serve alcohol before kick off, at half time and after the match has ended. The level three bar will serve ONLY soft drinks and snacks before kick off and at half time but WILL serve alcohol after full time. AFTER FULL TIME WHISTLE After the full time whistle we ask that you remain in the North Stand while we ensure there is a safe path back to the coaches and Metro trains. You will have access to the bars and toilets on levels one and three while you are waiting. If travelling back to Newcastle by Metro or train we need you to work with officers at St Peter's station. We will be splitting waiting fans into groups to get everyone onto the Metros safely. It is important you work with officers and listen to them on the day. We will get everyone onto the Metros but we need your co-operation and patience.

If there are any problems then Sunderland and especially their owner who allegedly instigated the changes should be taken to task for putting self interest before the safety of the general public. Quite disgraceful that they acted against police advice.
Guest neesy111
Dreamed about this last night, losing 2-0 at half time then we scored after about 65 mins and they collapsed and we won 3-2 scoring from a corner
loki679
Quite sad that police protection is needed to go and watch a sporting event though. That goes for when they come up here and most other derbies around the country too.

Yes but the needless words and actions of their club's owner has made an already difficult situation much worse by putting self interest before safety. They should be held accountable for ignoring police advice if there are problems.

Benwell Lad
The last three makum players to score in the derby are Darren Bent, Asamoah Gyan and Niklas Bendtner. Does that make them Sunderland legends like Kevin Ball and Charlie Hurley ?

Pardew said they had all trained today and would be available for selection on Sunday. However, Radio Newcastle seemed to think that Krul was the least likely to play out of the three. themanupstairs
Can't wait for this now. Not only it's the derby, but at last some proper football!! The fact that it's the spackems at the scrotum of shite makes me a little nervous (cacking it more like), but I'm confident we'll give a good account of ourselves. Satellite has gone out of whack all of a sudden, so will pay a million pounds to anyone who can fix it in time
