Wullie
Di Matteo actually only won 2 of his 18 games at West Brom btw. Impressive to get promoted with that record though.

Numbers
Much as I hate his smug face I wouldn't be opposed to Di Matteo. He has shown himself to be a good attacking coach and has something to prove after being sacked by Chelsea. Oh who am I kidding? It will be someone like Howard Wilkinson Come to think of it, I actually wouldn't mind Di Matteo at all. Aye did well at West Brom...hes done nowt but inherit a decent Chelsea team man, i could have done that
Pata
I really don't wanna sack him just because the new manager would be Mark Hughes. Give Pardew money in January and l'm sure we'll be fine. Go for the cups. Then we can sack him in the summer if there's need for it and get a proper replacement.
nufc4eva
Who are people expecting to replace him at this point if he gets sacked? Would like Martinez but in truth it needs to be a foreign coach type that can get us playing a more european game. I don't want anymore British managers because they never seem to have the nous to play good football (Except for a few like Fergie and Rednapp) Martinez is English......wow Ha, na didn't mean it like that, bad grammar, I meant Martinez or another foreign coach

Tiresias
I'd have Martinez like a shot, but he's too decent to walk out on Wigan mid season I suspect

TRon
We'll probably replace him with some desperate cheap English has-been. Exactly. No point in sacking Pardew unless we are going to bring in an intelligent manager who preaches possession football. In the meantime might as well keep this tosspot and hope the players work it out themselves like last season.

Varadi
Think tonight proved he hasn't lost the dressing room - thought everyone out there was giving it their all. Still think he'll turn it around, but we desperately need a result on Monday - hope HBA is back for that one.
duo
As much as it pains me to say Pardew is probably better than any other cheap alternative that MA would bring in.
alexf
Played 4-3-3 tonight. Players ran there socks off (anita, cisse) so small signs of improvement. We need to set up like that but remove Mike Williamson and if possible Danny Simpson and add in some flair for the attack; Ben Arfa/Marveaux and we will look somewhere closer to last season. toon25
Would agree that the squad outside the first 11 is dross, like, but Pardew could do much more with the players he does have available to make sure he gets the very best out of them. I would say that if Pardew had any balls he'd ditch the hoof and deploy a formation capable of suiting the best technicians we have available at the mo, but frankly it's not going to happen. Will be more of the same on Monday, no doubt.
Decky
I seriously doubt Shearer would work under Ashley again. I also doubt he would join us if there was a chance of us going down, he won't want two relegations to his name.
