I wouldn't be comfortable making him captain given his fitness record, he doesn't come into the equation for me. Captain needs to be in the side far more often than not IMO. Options are f***ing sparse though, I admit that. He's the best candidate quite comfortably, Saylor would give him some competition if he could stay fit but alas that is a paradox these days. As said before its no coincidence that since Saylor and Cabaye have been out that the team lack any sort of fight or natural leadership. I don't think he's ideal, like, but we really don't have anyone else apart from Hatem I'd want leading the team out.
