Tachikoma
Needs to work on his ball retention. This is what I said against Stoke. Didn't disagree, tbf. I think the position he's playing in suits him fine, but he needs to learn some patience. With the physical strength he has, slowing down and holding on to the ball a little while longer shouldn't be any bother at all. Actually, I'd go so far as to say that he has a thing or two to learn from Jonas.
joeyt
Doesn't look anything like the player that first arrived Amazing what a s**** manager and average coaches can do in such a shot period of time. Aye it must be Pardews fault that he can no longer control the ball
Mole_Toonfan
Loads of s*** Mole. Loads of s***. You really haven't seen much of him outside of Newcastle if that's your honest opinion. Liability? He's not a DM, but he can definitely play the box to box role. Defensively he is which is why Toulouse had to play a DM and a defensive minded B2B alongside him in a midfield 3. He can't tackle, his skill sets are much better suited to playing further forward he will be fine when the better attacking players get fit. Being surrounded by Tiote,Jonas, Perch etc etc basically means he has do most things himself which you can't expect him to do.
Varadi
I really rate Sissoko but he had a genuine shocker today - absolutely nothing he tried came off.

Guest Howaythetoon
Bar the cameo against Chelsea and some other bits and bobs he's looked nowt special to be honest. Same with all the other new lads. Too early to judge of course, but I do fear for this particular player due in the main to Pardew who seemingly doesn't have the foggiest where to use him/how to use him. The look he gave today when Shola told him to play wide says it all.
Ronaldo
Stormed straight down the tunnel at FT. Don't blame him too much.

Gouffran has really stood out for me in terms of movement and work rate, looks like he could potentially be a hell of a signing despite not being too good today. Yanga-Mbiwa is also a fantastic signing, looking like he has the potential to be a very top level centre half already by watching the way he reads the game. TRC
I'm sick of this "has pace put on the wing" Clearly not a winger.

He's definitely not in the classic mould but he has done a very good job for us there so far. Think teams will cotton on to the fact that he tends to go "all out" if you like and he will need to learn when to slow things down at times. Delighted with him so far. Lotus
I think he'll become somewhat less effective the more he trains here. Has good instincts but in a team devoid of imagination, daring and movement he'll soon look ordinary.

Said this after Stoke. 0 to 110mph, sometimes isn't the best option. Got told if I wanted him to pass like Jonas.

Delighted with him so far. he's not a classic 10 just like Fellaini, Guarin and Boateng are not but it works there is only so much he can do by himself. Should be mentioned aside from Marveaux he was probably the only attacking player on the pitch who can create by himself and he struggled unsurprisingly. Kanj
No issue from him. He's clearly a lad who doesn't hide and wants to pick us up whenever we are down. I think his full-steam ahead type runs are him being a bit naive in that aspect; case of trying to do a little too much. I'd rather him want to do that then hide at this point in the season and his career. He'll be fine man, hes young and still a bit raw in some of his game. He's class and will be immense for us for a long time.
Chicken Dancer
He's a cracking player with massive potential, its not like he stood out as shit in a good team yesterday. Everyone was poor. As for his best position I would say deep (ish) with the licence to run forward with and without the ball into space. Similar to Yaya for Manchester City. Can interchange throughout the game too, no doubt in my mind he will be a massive player for us. No reason why he can't hit 10-15 goals next season. Hughesy
Agree that he was trying to do too much yesterday. Each time something didn't work, you could tell he was becoming more and more desperate to make amends and started trying to do it all by himself. Kanj
I don't fault that in a young player in a new team, who knows hes one of the few players who can drive us forward.
