Then a half decent world cup (how many goals and assists?) and everyone said he's great. Turns out the people that actually watch him knows best. He's still an overrated, 100m sprinter Nobody rates him. He got a little praise for offering something that Spurs need now which is different to how he was used previously. Tottenham are treated with a lot of respect by teams these days. When Dembele is out the side none of their other CM's are interested in breaking forward or carrying the ball and he's useful for that against most teams. I think Son is a good option to provide something different in forward positions. But long-term they need an upgrade on Son and more creativity/drive from CM. As good as they are going forward or with the ball, Spurs still play with 5 proper defenders and sometimes 2 DM's. They need better pacey attacking options and a more creative CM imo.
