Jordan
Booked for fuck all yesterday. Can't stand this soft sport. Aye people on twitter were saying they were surprised it wasn't a red so I was expecting a horror tackle. It was just a good challenge, didn't even warrant a booking. Hughesy
Frustrating because he has all the physical attributes you might want in a box to box midfielder, but technically very inconsistent.
The College Dropout
The reason why opinions here go from Palmer to Zidane is because that's how he plays. That heavy first touch for his 1v1 was legitimately very poor but then he showed an a excellent touch, quick feet and a well measured pass to create Marv's 1v1. Willow
Not a footballer, Amadaye Faye was better on the ball FFS! Awful performance up there with the very worst, he seriously isn't a French international is he?! http://i.imgur.com/yZVeTdW.gif
Doctor Zaius
Tbf HTT did say Amdy Faye was better on the ball, which I'd agree with. Although, obviously Sissoko is a better footballer, with the ball at his feet, he's woeful.
arnonel
Still think he should be developed in the midfield, in the Tiote type role.
alexf
This is all bollocks. Sissoko has shown plenty of times his qualities. He's shown with some of his goals he's got a decent strike on the rare occasions he gets it right. He has good dribbling skills, nutmegs opponents atleast once a game and can power away from people. Passing - When he first arrived he showed some excellent passing and when he plays a deeper role he has played a calmer, better passing game. Obviously he is a tremendous athlete and this is probably what Pardew loves the most. He can get forward but also tracks back well. His problems are his composure. He probably gets into goal scoring positions more than anyone else in our team through his speed and willingness to break forward. But he often panics or doesn't know what to do with it which leads to bad control or bad decision making. His finishing is a big weakness that he needs to work on. He was obviously told to be the man yesterday by giving him the captain's armband and this led to some erratic and poor shooting from long range. Perhaps one of our players with the best potential. Let's not write him off and associate him with Amdy Faye when Faye couldn't dream of producing some of the performances Sissoko has for us this season. People have short memories. Pata
Sissoko is infuriating at times but comparing him to Faye is just ridiculous.

Guest Howaythetoon
ON THE FUCKING BALL I said. And I'm right. Fucking hell Shola on his absolute worst of days, is better on the ball than this clown. And his heading... we get a throw in and it gets thrown to Sissoko who without any pressure, just heads it back out of play. Another time someone played the ball to him and his control was so poor, it went out for a throw in. He is very powerful and very quick, but as a footballer he really is as poor as it gets in this division when it comes to technique, control and just general things like passing and shooting. The French League has produced some gems but it must be a piss poor division if someone like Sissoko stood out to the point of being regarded as one of the best to come through in recent years. Ronaldo
I'm laughing like a demented lunatic imagining Amdy Faye scoring the winner against Chelsea or that thunderbolt against WBA, like.
alexf
Swear some people base opinions of players on their last game and just forget everything that came before.

LRD
Lost any form of credit with the mention of worst-day Shola being better.
Dokko
He's very easy to contain, lacks a real football brain, technically basic and managed by Alan Pardew, usually out of position. Things are only going to get worse for him here. Under a proper manager things would be very different, I'm certain of it.
triggs
His touch is awful which is one of the reasons why Pardew playing him on the wing isn't actually that bad

It's actually when he's been moved inside that he's been poor.
Gallowgate Toon
The lad's a good player. He's not poor technically, just erratic. He does some excellent stuff. He also always tries to be a part of the game, does a lot of good work off the ball and moves as well as anyone in the side. He gets himself into good positions very often only to be ignored. Tremendous asset on the break too. He's got 5 assists and has apparently created more chances than anyone else in our squad.
Dave
Yep. As I said, his touch can be suspect and he's awful in the air but that's why he plays for us.
