Played 90 minutes pretty much every week and still only managed 1 goal.

Still managed to be our most creative player as well, even if he only scored one.

Makes me laugh people say he is shit though, he clearly isn't.

Of course he's not shit, but he can hardly be bothered most of the time. That's why people have a lot of disdain for the guy.

He will eventually work as one of the midfield 2 in a 4231. His legs would allow a slower 10 who doesn't chase around so much, like de Jong. He needs a destroying passer next to him though. There must be another Kante somewhere...

Actually think the opposite. He's all fart and no s***. I think a lot mistake lack of ability for lack of effort.

Totally agree. If he had some end product he'd be a fantastic player but he's an absolute bottler around the box. What's even more frustrating is that he can actually shoot, as demonstrated against Tottenham.

His attitude stinks - get rid.

Why would someone, who by his own admission is world class, play in the championship?

Link to when he said he was world class?

Eh??? It was a reference to his wish to play for a champions league club when he's clearly not good enough with any consistency.

Not everything is literal

It's interesting the way people talk about Sissoko, they simply don't hold the rest of the players to the same standards. There have been far worse players in the team that have been consistently worse then him, yet Sissoko gets the brunt of the abuse which is all due to him wanting to play Champions league football.

Yes because wanting to play in the Champions League and thinking you're world class are the exact same thing. FFS

Olivier Bernard was on the radio earlier saying he thought that if Rafa stays, Sissoko will probably stay. Even more so because there's no international tournament next summer. Had there been he would have been off straight away

Rafa clearly likes Sissoko, he's picked him in every team, said as much in print and handed him the armband. I think Moussa is one of those who would have been away normally after relegation but after seeing how he could be used in a Rafa set up so effectively might well decide to stay.

I was told today that he hated McClaren and was taking photographs of him(McClaren) leaving after he'd been sacked and sending them to the other players.

None of the other players get into good positions as often as Sissoko does, but no one cocks up quite as often as he does either.

It's a good point about no tournament next summer. If any of our players who get selected in Euro squads have an excellent tournament then it'll be up to Rafa to decide if he accepts or not. That goes for Sissoko too.

His attitude has been poor but I don't blame him or any of the other players, having an imbecile like John Carver telling you what to do and then McLaren soon after would leave anyone feeling a bit fucked off.

Rafa likes him because he's an absolute beast.. and he's still young enough to improve.

If none of these players have relegation clauses in their contracts, it will all be up to Rafa to decide.

And why the hell did he wear the captains armband on his compression vest during his post match interview?  Like a child wearing his boots for bed, to be fair he was probably aiming to throw it in the kit bag
