Mick
He's already surpassed my expectations, I knew he could play a bit but I didn't expect that he would put in the amount of work he's getting through.
ujpest doza
Brilliant, can't remember him in the Europa league, but he's fast as owt, grafts his stots off and can play as well.
Skirge
Love this lad, such effort and composure, needed him to fit straight in and he has
Sifu
He was an unsung hero today. Offered plenty of movement and wanted the ball almost on every occasion. He's certainly got pace and it is what ultimately brought about the equaliser. He worked really hard, kept possession well and his tracking back was canny too. Long may this continue. Another bargain it seems
Chase
I'm so pleased we got this guy, of all the signings this was the one I was probably the most apprehensive about as I knew absolutely nothing about him. His work rate is amazing, he seems an intelligent player and he's always doing what he can for the team.
midds
Really, really impressed me today. The difference on the wing compared to Shola or Cisse is unbelievable. The passing, control, movement, fitness he showed just today has surpassed Shola's cumulative efforts over the course of the season. A million quid? Fucking hell. Ste
Looks a real threat. Direct, pacey, decent dribbler.
Newcastle Fan
He was superb today, such a good player. only needed a goal to cap that performance.
Dave
Glad he's getting recognition, I thought he was really good today. So smart, quick clever passes combined with workrate and movement. When he dragged that shot wide in the first half someone behind me called him 'just another Obertan'.
binnsy
This lad looks decent and actually looks like the player you want Obertan to be, brave and working and positive.
madras
He's already surpassed my expectations, I knew he could play a bit but I didn't expect that he would put in the amount of work he's getting through. thats the thing, will he keep up that work rate, hope so. Ikon
Wow, never seen him before (at Bordeaux)! Impressed me very very much, what a player! Didn't expect him to be half as good. Composed, intelligent, athletic and much more, so allround!
Kanj
Ah hate these Obertan comparisons man - he's a completely different player. Great match from him!

Cajun
Ah hate these Obertan comparisons man - he's a completely different player. Great match from him! He's very quick and has no hair. That's about it. The Bellamy comparisons are better. That run for the second goal, great intelligence, composure, shot on his weaker foot. On the last two games he has more than earnt his place in the first 11. Can't wait for him to get a goal under his belt.
Ishmael
Involved in most of our most threatening moves today, always taking the ball forward with passes and dribbling. Very impressed.
TRon
He was fantastic on the break. He has less natural talent than Obertan but he uses his skill much more effectively. Plus he really puts in the work rate. He seemed to be everywhere today, back defending, breaking forward and used the ball very intelligently when he had it. Yorkie
He looks a tiny bit like Obertan, that is about the only comparison. Gabby's got one or two useful traits when we're at bare bones, but Gouffran is way ahead. They share one or two attributes; in that they've both got pace and a touch of flair; but each use those similar traits differently. The workrate is worlds apart, as is the general intelligence. Think he's gonna be a really good player for us, got an excellent feeling.
Guest
Sissoko getting the headlines won't do him any harm at all.
