Hanshithispantz
We need a spine full-stop, being English has nothing to do with it. Although I agree with the first bit, I think it's pretty obvious now that we'd massively benefit from bringing in English players like. Or at least players who've spent a lot of years here and have a lot of experience in our leagues.

Jimburst
I really like having English players in the squad, local lads even more, but in the end being entertained is what matters to me, and people like Jack Colback and Paul Dummet do not entertain me in the slightest. In fact they anger me.
Guest firetotheworks
Anyone made a joke about spines and Jack Colback yet? Anyone? Areet then. Here lads, it's funny how they talk about having an English spine, yet Jack Colback (an Englishman) doesn't even have a spine himself!!!!!!!!

Hanshithispantz
I don't think it's an exact science either like, Aarons for example may as well be fucking Mexican. Dummett despite his lack of ability has the right attitude, I'd stick him in the centre until we get a proper partner for Mbemba. Colback doesn't, he's a little licky arse you can tell. Santon was Italian but he took to the place really well and seemed to just get it, that's hard to identify abroad though, where as with someone like Austin you're relatively certain he'll fit. He knows the league, he has the right attitude, he can score goals, it's an obvious choice.

Dokko
Second-half substitute Florian Thauvin, who arrived from Marseille for a reported £12million in the summer, was subjected to the worst of the taunts from the dispirited Newcastle support, with some sections of the crowd chanting, "You're not fit to wear the shirt" at the young Frenchman. He also appeared to be booed when he went over to applaud the travelling section at the end of the match. "He's a young kid who's just coming in and he's got to adapt to this kind of thing and we're certainly behind the scenes supporting him," McClaren said of the 22-year-old. Dave
For acting like a tart apparently: With four minutes to go there was a summary of our season so far when £12m substitute Florian Thauvin fell over and went off for treatment on a non-existent injury to chants of "you're not fit to wear the shirt". Dusting down his tuxedo with an accompanying spinning bow-tie would be more appropriate for this clown. https://twitter.com/JonathanComyn/status/685877358188953600

Incredible that some fans are determined to write him off and make him the scapegoat for the mess we find ourselves in. Should maybes concentrate on the ones who've beeb here for a lot longer & play 90mins every week and produce nothing, rather then a lad still adapting to the league whos been lucky to get 5mins before today. ponsaelius
The chanting and booing was ridiculous but he was an absolute pisstake when he came on like. The fake injury was a pitiful couple of minutes.

Tsunami
I have plenty of sympathy for him, mostly because we shouldn't have bought him and it should be of no surprise to anyone that he's struggling. I don't think he's suited to the PL especially a team like us. He was bought for all the wrong reasons and it was a transfer that high lighted the absurdity of our transfer policy. It was a transfer which benefitted the transfer makers and they'll be getting more action when we try and move him on.

Totally agree with this. Directing abuse at him given how little game time he's had is embarrassing.
Guest chopey
Mike Ashley and the club hate people questioning them and that's why they get rid of anybody that speaks out or has anything close to a character or personality, the club is full of yes men if this lad is weak and gets upset when he plays like a sissy and gets stick off the fans then that's ultimately the fault of Ashley
