The season Krul made his debut against Palermo. FA cup runners up? So he had one two legged experience of Europe before this then? I think so, i'm unsure if they played a qualifying tie before the Palermo game. I just wondered, he seemed surprised at eveything European last season (including some of our players ) like it was all new, if so it might explain why he couldn't cope with it but you'd hope someone like carver would be able to put his two penneth in as he was ass manager here when we were in Europe regularly. I had this idea the other day, i'm (only half jokingly) considering giving up football completely. After 30 years of attending games i wonder if i could just stop, cancel sky sports, not watch match of the day. And i fully understand the general reaction on here would be well fuck off then fair weather fan. Because that would probably be my reaction to someone else saying it. But it's something i'm considering just to see if i can do it. Genuine crisis of faith here like, and it's due in no small part to the drivel we were subjected to last season which shows no signs at all of imroving.
