madras
Australia skipper and former West Ham player Lucas Neill is in trouble for swearing at fans who were booing him during Australia's 1-0 friendly victory over Australia. He was captured saying to fans "What are you f***ing booing for" during a break in play. Neill has since apologised... for swearing, but stands by his sentiments. (story found at http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/news/1173911/Neill-defends-outburst-at-booing-crowd ) Awesome situation to be in seven months from a World Cup when the unloved and over-the-hill captain is being booed by his own fans during a friendly... ..........against themselves. madras
graham wallace ex finance fella at man city has been appointed to "stabalise" things at rangers. bearing in mind wallace joined man city after the abu dhabi takeover, I'd imagine him to sit at his desk on his first morning, pick up the phone and say to his secretary "get the owners please andf tell them to give us 1 billion pounds"

Village Idiot
To be honest, I found a quite frightening amount of people with only casual interest in sports that believe that national teams are made out of people playing in the league, not nationals. Particularly while living in America.
Guest Roger Kint
Maybe they're making an ironic statement about the number of strikers Germany has had recently with Polish heritage. Was going to say they are probably fishing for bites, that or going for the 'thick wanker' look thats popular these days. Either way not serious, clearly had to google his name first

newsted
https://soundcloud.com/the-game-podcast/the-game-live-from-newcastle Steve Harper on this. Spoke on dressing room. This is from Twitter. Haven't listened myself. Ben @BonjourMonAmiNE 13m @ChrisLambert10 Said that new players struggled last season - dressing room was very split. Likes of Tiote believed their own hype too. George Caulkin on too. 1h 20 ish, first 25m about NUFC, they've moved on to England atm, still listening, guess they'll come back to us later. Edit: They didn't, went on to wunderland and boro etc. but still a good listen. Harps compared Fat Sam to di Canio
