Deuce
Bit daft Manchesters coat of arms has a ship on it. New page doh. Wasn't Manchester a fairly major port at one time?
henke
Ship canal ahhhh. According to wiki Britain's 3rd largest port despite being 40 miles from the sea, so not for the first time it's me who's a mong.
M4
Think it's very classy. I dread to think what a redesign of ours would be like. We'd probably have the cheapest designers from Puma and Firetrap on the case.

Guest firetotheworks
I like that badge a lot. I'm a big fan of anything that does the whole retro thing when it comes to football.
Incognito
Don Howe has died, not sure if already posted. Never liked his style of football. The architect of "boring, boring Arsenal". Yet highly acclaimed football people gave their eye teeth to have him around them. Sir Bobby, El Tel etc. Was also instrumental in Bobby Gould's Wimbledon side which somehow managed to surpass Harry Bassett's in terms of hoofball and flying studs and elbows. Anyhow RIP. nemtizz
A Borussia Dortmund fan has been arrested after breaking into the Westfalen Stadium and playing a match by himself while naked. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11899/10109485/borussia-dortmund-fan-breaks-into-stadium-to-play-match
Stifler
A Borussia Dortmund fan has been arrested after breaking into the Westfalen Stadium and playing a match by himself while naked. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11899/10109485/borussia-dortmund-fan-breaks-into-stadium-to-play-match They should just admit fair play and let him be. Bigger questions need to be asked about how a naked fan can break in and play by himself to be honest, especially a month or so after a Germany game being called off after the discovery of a bomb. Giving him a lifelong ban is a bit extreme.

Mattoon
Manchester United allegedly STILL the most hated team in the PL. Not sure how, they're pretty insignificant these days, can think of much more deplorable teams. http://m.sportskeeda.com/football/manchester-united-top-premier-league-list-most-hated-club?key1=fbp

newsted
Other than the usual top six, only Stoke more hated than us. I don't know what we did to them all, we make them laugh on a regular basis. Can't even blame it on lots of Geordies and mackems voting from what they say about weighting. Yorkie
The answer is the media portrayal of our fans. We're deluded with massive expectations, remember.

Guest firetotheworks
Pretty much as I would expect tbh. I'd maybe have thought Stoke would be lower and Everton would be higher, but that's about it.

It's all down to what is seen as our fanbase's arrogant desire for automatic and deserved success. Keep forgetting how massively deluded we all are. My expectations have been set at 15th for the last 30 odd years with the odd good performance thrown in to make it acceptable and a bit fun. The KK years were a fucking blast and Sir Bobby did really well, but hatred? Actual hatred? I honestly don't understand. Maybe we're too far north for them
henke
I'm not sure about hatred but i'd say fans other premier league clubs are just sick of us. That was the case when we were relegated anyway. We'd became a soap opera that got on everyone else's tits.
