Can't imagine there being many instances of a club making 4 finals and at the end of every one either still be in the Championship, or relegated to it. They're much better suited to playing sides who they can sit back against. Still quietly hopeful they'll go down, but it's far from a certainty. It's happened all season in the league, and there's no evidence to suggest it's going to change now. What it will do (hopefully) is put an end to the delusional posters on SMB, who seem to think we are going to miraculously and suddenly change our woeful home form. You'd be hard pressed to find a team playing worse football than us ATM, present company accepted I've got to say I've watched Newcastle about 15 times this season, and apart from Man U away, Fulham away (I think), and Man City at home in the cup, I've not been impressed at all.
