aussiemag
If Tiote goes, I wouldnt be surprised if we are in for Capoue. Carr loves him.
Kanj
Capoue and Sissoko actually worked well too.
Ronaldo
Can Capoue play a bit of football?
aussiemag
Can Capoue play a bit of football? He could at Toulouse. He is the ideal defensive midfielder, good positionally, good tackler and good passer. He was shunted to centre back at Spurs though and has only played 12 times. Kanj
I mean he and Sissoko came through together and while Sissoko was getting initial praise being the more all-action midfielder - Capoue is like 6'2, strong and quick. Think his range of passing is pretty damn good too and of course, he has that understanding with Moussa. He's better on the ball than Tiote, he's not prone to those rash tackles, he probably won't take crazy long shots that head out of play, etc. But again - extra emphasis on his understanding with Sissoko. I do like his height and strength too.
Kanj
Put it this way, I was bit jealous when Spurs signed him as I was hoping that Tiote would be sold and we'd pair the 2 together in the middle of the park.
Ronaldo
He sounds much better, anyway.
AyeDubbleYoo
Would really love us to sign Capoue, big potential.
aussiemag
The only problem is that Spurs dont sell cheap.
Mole_Toonfan
If Tiote goes, I wouldnt be surprised if we are in for Capoue. Carr loves him. I suppose it's possible. Linked with him in the past and out of favour at Spurs for whatever reason.
LRD
So because he's injured Lee has assumed he's off. Ryder man. Tasked to come up with a NUFC preview for ESPN and he comes out with this. http://i.imgur.com/rfg5BXW.png http://www.espnfc.com/newcastle-united/story/1969461/premier-league-preview-newcastle

Ash
United are just a couple of knocks away from a keeper crisis Like virtually every single team in the world, then.
dinotheprehistoricgeordie
We've got a lot of new players, no one has a clue how we're going to line up at the start of the season.
Pilko
we're the only team to not have five or six equally talented keepers slugging it out.

jdckelly
United are just a couple of knocks away from a keeper crisis Like virtually every single team in the world, then. thats a new level of stupid even by his standards, having 2 goalkeepers who are at least competent is hard enough let alone more than that. Belfast Mags
Man I can't stand Ryder. He's absolutely fucking robbing a living. I wonder what kind of money he is on? Anything more than a £5 an hour is disgusting for the drivel he puts out
timeEd32
Man I can't stand Ryder. He's absolutely f***ing robbing a living. It really is amazing. Reporters don't necessarily need to be Pulitzer caliber, but he literally can't write and he's not only conned the Chronicle's editors for years but he managed to secure himself a semi-regular gig with ESPN.
