Klaus
Bye bye Janmaat We do love a good cut price downgrade. Another player we wouldn't bother touching if he wasn't on a free. He's not shit, but his injury record is nearly Bantz level.
Mole_Toonfan
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/446538/EXCLUSIVE-Steve-McClaren-to-sign-Micah-Richards-when-he-is-confirmed-as-Newcastle-boss Decent free transfer signing IF he can stay fit. 5 years ago he would have been, he's crap now. He's not shit, but his injury record is nearly Bantz level. He's just not a player we should be looking at. He is injury prone and we already have a better right back at the club. He's a poor centre half but an upgrade on what we have. Ah well, we've appointed McClaren on a similar basis.
Wallace
Oh great another player who will spend more time in the treatment room than on the pitch.
Ronaldo
I heard Richards being interviewed on Talksport last week. Fair to say he's not very bright. Him and Saylor could make a right Cuckoo's Nest CB pairing.

Guest zicomartin
So Carr forces through the appointment of a manager who promptly does a Redknapp and signs all his old players and ignoring all of Carr's recommendations. Awesome. No doubt he will add insult to injury by benching our best player too (DJ). Micah Richards played 9 out of 18 of McClarens England games. Cant wait for Peter Crouch and Gareth f***ing Barry. jdckelly
bit of a gamble considering his injury record but probably one worth taking, our homegrown numbers are fairly low too iirc so this would help too
AyeDubbleYoo
One link in the Daily Star doesn't make a signing.
sempuki
Austin linked in a fair few rags again. I wonder if we have any chance.
Deuce
Somehow, Richards is only 27 years old (birthday in a few weeks). His body has the mileage of a man twice his age. Janmaat out, Richards in, with no contingency plan for a player who will absolutely get injured. Back to playing Anita/Colback at fullback. Fucking woo. Alberto2005
Austin stinks of a one season wonder, and he probably wasn't that good anyway.
lovejoy
Austin stinks of a one season wonder, and he probably wasn't that good anyway. nah, i think he'll prove to be a good striker, he's got a lot to his game i think.
midds
Austin stinks of a one season wonder, and he probably wasn't that good anyway. In a squad full of zero season wonders he'd be quite good tbh.
Teasy
Haven't seen much of Austin, but his record suggests he's a natural goal scorer. At every level he's played at he's scored a bucket load. No idea if we'll sign him though.
Alberto2005
I'd like to hear what the QPR fans think before making judgement. We all know from Pardew and other players how easy it is to make judgements.
Teasy
Definitely, though that's more to do with being taken in by Pardew's bull shit and smarm rather than his record, which is garbage. Still I'd be interested in hearing what QPR fans think of him.
LFEE
Definitely, though that's more to do with being taken in by Pardew's bull s*** and smarm rather than his record, which is garbage. Still I'd be interested in hearing what QPR fans think of him. I know several QPR fans and basically in a nutshell CA is good inside the box and poor outside the box. Totally unsuited to us really. Unbelievable
That's the impression I get. Would much rather we went for Ings.
Village Idiot
I haven't seen that many QPR games this season - god forbid - but from the couple or so I have seen, I get the feeling Austin would be a good partner for people like De Jong or Ayoze that are better playing around the box. He seems a clever striker, knowing his way inside the box. Also a good physical presence. Imho you need a man with that profile. I'm still wary of him being a one-season wonder though. Still, all the WWE pun potential makes it worth the risk.

We need someone who can put the cross in and then finish it themselves. Basically needs to create his own chances because no chance of anyone else doing it
