Townsend, 23, endured a difficult season at White Hart Lane last term and has been linked with a move away from the club. And Spurs may be ready to cash in on the sale as they line up Monaco wide man Yannick Ferreira as a replacement, although their reported poor relationship with West Ham means they're unlikely to sell Townsend to Slaven Bilic's side. Sometimes it's a new name, sometimes we bring back one that has not been mentioned for a week or so. It's completely baffling. This is important as it was a states club policy to not employ more than the permitted 25 players. Including Perez (not sure of cut off date) and Sammy we have 26.
