U2
A "senior source" at the club has told Keith Downie Perez isn't for sale. If anyone wants some false excitement, McClaren isn't at the training ground today. Getting a haircut hopefully. Gone to Makro to stock up on tea bags, most probably. Guest reefatoon
He hasn't been seen since he rollocked Mitrovic for getting sent off. Make of that what you will.
Scottish Mag
Crystal Palace are understood to have expressed an interest in Newcastle United left-back Paul Dummett - but the Eagles face a race against time to get the deal done on deadline day. Sources at Palace suggest that Dummett is a player that Alan Pardew - who handed him his Newcastle debut - still admires the Geordie defender and is keen to add more Premier League experience to his squad at Selhurst Park. Palace sounded out the possibility of signing Dummett last week but knew they needed to clear their wage bill before moving for another defender. Palace then moved both Barry Bannan and Glenn Murray out of Selhurst Park yesterday. Wales international Dummett is thought to be valued at around £8million and has two years left on his current contract. But time is running out for Pardew and they are still to table an official bid. St1pe
Dummet's another player who is underrated here. I'd be disappointed if that mug snapped him up for Palace.

AyeDubbleYoo
It's a safe bet, say every rumour is false and you'll be right 80-90% of the time. To do Ryder's job you don't need to leave the house or do any research really.
Mike
Dummet's another player who is underrated here. I'd be disappointed if that mug snapped him up for Palace. Yup. The sooner he's moved to CB the better, imo.
RobS
Surely we won't let Dummett go, we would then have no back up full backs at all, its madness
Dr.Spaceman
Dummett....8 million....
mrmojorisin75
Wouldn't want Dummett to go at this stage but it bodes well that Pardew may be given free reign to make such purchases
steve_69
Considering Dummett is one of our CB options and our only backup LB, that wouldn't be a great move
Ronaldo
Dummett's still our best option for LB by a mile. Madness to let him go.
Flip
Dummett's still our best option for LB by a mile. Madness to let him go. Haidara has been getting better after that horror performance against Southampton. Dummett is in my opinion overrated in here, he's never going to be anything other than a possibly average PL defender.
Guest firetotheworks
Dummett's still our best option for LB by a mile. Madness to let him go. If that's true then we're in serious shit. He's fucking terrible at left back.
triggs
He's probably a better centre half than Damien Delaney as well so they could want him for there
