I'm astonished that no one has tried to sign Bielsa yet.

He's at Leeds which used to be one of the bigger clubs in the PL. If the owner has any sort of ambition, it might be that Bielsa doesn't particularly want to leave. There's loads of potential there if they can release him some funds to compete at this level.

Isn't he incredibly particular about what jobs he'll take? The conditions have to be just right for him and against all odds he seems to have found it at Leeds. Plus there's the issue of him only committing to a one year rolling contract which may factor in.

No reason to think Leeds can't overtake Spurs anyway in the near future based on their financial means and Spurs' possible need for a big rebuild (their debt issues too... not sure how bad it really is, especially without Champions League?)

Bayern Munich have announced that Julian Nagelsmann is to become their new manager, with the Bundesliga champions reportedly paying up to €25 million (£22m/$30m) compensation to RB Leipzig to land the highly-rated coach on a five-year contract.

€25 mil transfer fee for manager?  Jesus H Christ, football is broken [emoji38]

Taking Nagelsmann and Upemecano from Leipzig should set them back a good few years. Bayern know exactly what they're doing and how to stay on top, simply weaken the nearest opposition to them and strengthen themselves. As soon as Haaland goes they're golden for the next 5 years.

Levy has tried every type of manager and has cut short their tenure everytime when he personally started to feel the heat, he is a coward and his mismanagement has cost spurs big time, I think he might go for an experienced Italian that can put together a short term first 11.

Losing their manager due to a crackpot Super League plan a week before their biggest game all season. Great work Levy.

At least he was able to leak inaccurate reports of the players hating him though.

Their next appointment will be underwhelming and they’ll lose Kane this summer.

How do you know they were inaccurate reports?

Well a number of players (Kane included) coming out in support of him this week, when they have no allegiances left, is a stark picture.

Especially when one article named Kane as a player desperate for him to go.

It's been reported that Kane was the only player by the end that was still happy playing for Mourinho
