Having watched Barca - I wouldn’t go overboard in my praise of Xavi - they have been below standard imo - will wait a few years before making a real call - Same with Arteta

He was an FPL mainstay for me at Everton because he took freekicks, corners, and pens, and was good from distance. Think he maybe moved back a bit at Arsenal?

Xavi and Arteta were like Cabaye - always had a DM with them 

 

Xavi was supposed to be Peps replacement but they played Edmilson in that role - then Busquets came along
