Have to narrow down club "boss". Media have a habit of headlining a catch all.

If it's a manager then, given one of the claimed assaults was in the 90s, then that narrows it right down.

British and, at least, 18ish by 1990?

By "boss" they could mean manager, director, coach, anything.

Ex Fulham “boss” is a shoe-in

I know I'm not going to get many friends saying this, but I wouldn't mind Mourinho at all for a couple of seasons, just so he can fulfill his Mr Robson arc. I'd like to think he'd be a bit more invested here than another random club.

He's a busted flush. Genuinely reckon him coming here would be Souness tier where he just fights with our players and sets us back a few years.

I don't think we could say we didn't see it coming if it did tbf.

That said, I'd still want to roll the dice, I'd be hopeful it'd be more positive than not. But I'm a hopeless romantic

Feels a bit like another 'Steve Bruce' appointment to me, put out there and encouraged by the media because Jose has a tenuous link to us and it'd make good soap opera football for them to report on.

(obviously has a bit more about him though than Bruce)

I'm ambivalent towards Jose, really. I really like the affinity he has for us through how he loved and admired SBR. I totally get that sentiment but if we're ever looking for a successor to Howe, Jose is not an appointment that progresses the club.

His average time spent at clubs is 1.82 years so you can why he's the perfect man for a long-term project.

Fingers crossed by the time we do finally get Jose we'll have Rafa in the DoF hotseat by then to ensure absolutely nothing goes wrong and everyone works together harmoniously.

Has he been a real success in a club since winning the league with Chelsea 14/15? Won the Europa League with Man Utd. Apart from that, not much of notice in the last 9 years I believe.

Mourinho

Absolute busted flush man. Managerial equivalent of signing a 33 year old midfielder whos struggling in Turkey because his legs have gone on the basis that he was once good.

It'll be international or somewhere purely for the coin for him when Fenerbahce bin him off.

He's currently trying his best to get sacked in Turkey so he can fuck off if he thinks he can come here, I reckon he will end up at West Ham
