The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Steve Cooper sacked by Leicester

Recommended Posts

Jaw is still on the floor with this one, I can't believe they've fucked themselves over like this. Defeat snatched from the jaws of victory.

Great news for us... especially with those rumoured candidates. So hilarious   :lol:

Mental, anyone who knows anything about football could see he’d turned that shit show into something that could work and has been working for the last few months

I would have had them down as a contender for the top 4 based on the form book going into next season.

Poch has impressed me.. they were so disjointed, like really one of the jobs of the season imho.. and they bin him. Madness.

Wouldn’t be surprised at all if they try quite hard for Howe, but equally I am very confident he would reject any offer.

He would be dead to me if he went there, like.

No chance Howe would go to them. Who the fuck would? If they gave Poch the road they'd do it to anyone at any time.

Has Jose ever been out of a job since Boehly became owner? Pair of fuckers meant for each other.

Given Mourinho's reputation for working with young players....sounds perfect.

I wrote this as part of a longer post in the Next Season thread:

"Chelsea are a close second behind Villa in terms of our biggest threat, their team has a lot of talent I just hope they do something stupid like sack Pochettino who seems to be slowly turning a group of individuals into something resembling a team."

So it was all me, you're welcome. Allegri is available, has a big name, seems like a bit of tool, has a dislikeable face, isn't great at developing youth and seems to be on a downward trajectory in his career. He's perfect for them. I shall use my powers to now make this happen.

De Zerbi left Brighton because he didnt get enough say on who comes and goes. How is that different with Chelsea?

Suppose, gets to double his wage and get a pay out in 5-6 months time?

Zero chance Howe goes to Chelsea, approach or not.

I think there's almost zero chance Howe goes anywhere if offered. He's landed on his feet here and is in the middle of building something.

If his name does get linked anywhere we don't have to worry.

I reckon Poch fancied out of that circus and it was likely all agreed in advance.

Why did the wanker decide to finish the season strongly then. Made no odds to him, he could have given us that spot.

Exactly. That's why hopefully he'll end up going there and even the ashes of the club will catch fire and burn down.

Really hope they overpay for their next manager before 30 June, not that they ever get done for overspending. Wonder if the 'mutual consent' involves an off the books payoff to hide from PSR

Behdad Egbhali seems particularly clueless. "Us business nerds know best actually". Arrogance off the charts. Hope they fail miserably.

Everything Ive read has been that they're adamant that the manager will dance solely to their tune. Doesnt take much to look around and see City, Arsenal and Liverpool, the best three clubs in the country are focused around the manager, not vice versa.

De Zerbi seems quite outspoken, given he's seemingly fell out with the Brighton hierarchy. So thatll be a disaster waiting to happen. Best bet is McKenna if he fancies it, he might be that type of manager, be great if he tells them to do one.

Good job for Steve Bruce.

How is that data even framed as a negative to the manager. Clearly his system is generating the big chances to score, do they want Poch to put his boots on and score them himself? [emoji38]

Also didn’t they hire a specialist set-piece coach from Brentford for millions in compensation midway through the season? Surely responsibility is on him.
