Not for Everton, Spurs, Palace, Wolves. Pretty shocking he was linked to none of them...

..Oh yeah all the bell ends in the media saying how we didnt deserve him aren't interested in championing him going elsewhere.  Surprise.

Dyche & Hughes. Rafa's like the inverse Pardew. Pundits & supporters of other clubs falling over themselves to tell you he's actually shit, despite what you seen with your own eyes over a period of few years.

It’s quite pleasing in a way to see he’s just genuinely a massive tosser - rather than singling us out.

Hughes or Dyche  [emoji38]

Mark Hughes managing in the Premier League in the year of our lord 2021, god almighty.

He’ll absolutely be our replacement for Bruce in a few years.

12 months ago Pochettino was apparently the preferred manager for the consortium.

People need to realise not every story in the world at the moment revolves/impacts on our takeover.

(not a dig at you @Jinky Jimaimed at anyone who does think it’ll have a baring)

On a side note - Rafa clearly wants the job, his preferred media really talking him up for it.

IMO if he did take the job I don’t think that has any baring on our takeover….more like he’s not risking the opportunity of a Premier job, when ours may be still months away from settlement.

If a job comes up which fits there is no doubt he will take it. Yes, he would very likely love (and prefer) to come here under new rich owners, but is he prepared to wait only to lose out on other options and then be in limbo again if our takeover does not proceed?

Fonseca to Spurs seems to be done. Pretty underwhelming if you’re a Spurs fan I’d imagine given how far down the list he must’ve been. Levy funding Mendes’ next island very nicely.

You’d have to wonder what Spurs objectives are now. How long would a stadium like that take to pay off? They can’t afford to have another crack at the top 4 for a while I’d imagine ?‍♂️

Spurs have been quite unfortunate in that they have a new stadium and it's empty, doesn't disguise though their other mistakes like appointing Jose in the first place.

Timing of the stadium in combination with a global outbreak is unfortunate yes, but appointing Mourinho was just a massive gamble that didn't pay off.

Most could see that he was lame horse after Man Utd, but they took the chance that he could still do it.

Don't get me wrong, he was a brilliant manager but he's fallen behind the times and things that worked for him from 2004-2010 just don't now and his ego won't let him consider new approaches. Compare to Rafa who has shown himself to be massively adaptable and willing to learn.
