Guest HTT II
If Rafa was a mercenary he wouldn’t have taken the fucking NUFC job and stayed beyond relegation under Ashley FFS, howay man! Edited June 17, 2021 by HTT II

He is going to need a good start that’s for sure or they will be right on his back. Well he won Chelsea a cup, Everton fans would gladly settle for that. Lazarus
Have to admit - If Rafa has been offered the jerb at Everton Id be hugely disappointed. I can understand him doing it 100% and Ive no doubt he will win round their fans. Rafa is/was such a good fit for us though
Kanj
Makes you wonder if the Rafa stuff is a leak by their board to try and get Nuno or Martinez to commit.

I'm thinking this also. Can't imagine the Everton board really wanting a manager that the fans are so against. It's just extra pressure from day one to get results

They have whinged about the football Carlo Magnifico played and I don’t think it’ll be too different under Benitez until he gets his players in, like the way we looked post Miggy. Difference is, they won’t give Rafa a chance.

Ben
The talk on Twitter is that Moshiri asked Jim White to break the news last night so they could gauge the fan reaction.
Kimbo
I don’t get the impression Everton know what they’re doing. It all seems a bit messy.
astraguy
Sid Dodia: Everton need someone who will be at Goodison for 3- 4 years who can rebuild the club and get them back to Europe. Benitez is not a long term prospect, I think he has lost his mojo since sacked by Real Madrid. Eddie Howe or Nuno will be the perfect candidates

ToonArmy1892
Is it even happening. Rafa holding off as he's heard the takeover is close imo. Edited June 17, 2021 by ToonArmy1892
Kanj
Would be hilarious if Rafa came out on his Twitter and said he’s not going to coach Everton, didn’t want to, didn’t ever consider it. The news break was a bunch of lies.

I hope he goes to Everton has a really good start in to top 5 then leaves them mid way through the season fuck Everton Edited June 17, 2021 by gdm
